In this video I will show why EBYTE radio modules are needed, using LoRa technology to transmit information over long distances. Each module serves as a receiver and transmitter.
The modules are designed to transmit small amounts of data over the longest distances at a relatively low radio signal power.
Modules can be used for:
- Alarm systems.
- Remote control of various devices.
- Organization of smart home systems
- Positioning systems (no internet)
- RC models (not everywhere, there is a delay)
- Monitoring sensors
- Text communication (like a pager)
These are just a few examples, in fact the scope is huge.
For the test, I took two E22-400T30D modules. A distinctive feature from the E32 series is that these modules are equipped with an updated SX1268 chip from Semtech. In contrast to the SX1278, the new chip consumes less power, can communicate over longer distances and has more functionality.
The radio modules can be used with various microcontrollers such as arduino, ESP12, ESP32, STM and more. I chose modules with UART interface, but there are some that use SPI. With the help of LoRa technology, you can not only link two devices, but create a whole network where each device will have its own address.
