The problem i have with the 155/152 is the exhaust Due to how is down firing when trimming certain plants they will get burn marks I'm currently using a Stihl 81t and couple of shindaiwa I don't have that issue anymore Most of echo trimmers have this exhaust design, to each their own but thats mu issue with them Other than that This are great tools, had the 155 and the 2020 Good trimmers I also highly recommend using echo red armor oil mix with your fuel, you will see less issues with piston...

Thank you for the great information. My question is...we are still running a number of HC-152's. Is there a way to sharpen these blades? We have not found an Echo dealer or anyone for that matter that will sharpen these. I have been told that i can purchase a new set of blades and the gear box for $145.00. IS that the wise way to go if the engines are still performing. I am also now looking at upgrading to the new HC -2210 or 2810 X series. What is your experience with this newer model.

You can check out my DIY video on how to sharpen blades if you want. I’m really surprised you can’t find someone to sharpen blades should be a normal repair for most shops. The newer models are basically the same as the older ones with similar issues. Tips and Tricks kzitem.info/door/PLlJv1fdfZlZOoRjeSU57hcOdH-An6pIde

Do any of these models cut one inch twigs? Poulan Pro PR2322 advertises to cut up to one inch.

They will as long as the plant is still alive and the branches are still somewhat soft. Use caution if it’s dry and dead, that’s where it could be difficult.

@@1EVILZ06 I misread your first comment, yes you can use the same scabbard. The one for the 2020 is X495000870.

@@wallysworkin823 Thanks bro for the part number. I’m going to wait a day or so to see if the one I ordered will fit. If not,I’ll return it and just order the one you gave me the correct part number for. Thanks again.👍

Don't really feel like working today? Tired and just need a break? Rely on your Echo tools to never start so you can go home.

@@wallysworkin823 Bought my first Echo saw in 1990 to heat the house to keep my family warm. That family froze to death ,so I started a new family and bought a Husqvarna.New family is doing good, but I hear the guy that bought the old Echo from me has been in and out of asylums for 30 years now. Aside from all that, great detail on the video and nice job.

@@wallysworkin823 please, lets not go there. I once watched a man buy a Stihl saw. He WAS a good friend of mine. The saw got a rain drop in the fuel tank, and he pulled the starter rope until his appendix ruptured. He is doing ok, but I refuse to be friends with people with ruptured appendix.
