Dr. Lee, good to see you again. I would appreciate the prayers of you and your followers. My sister's two year battle with pancreatic cancer came to and end last week. She is now at peace and rest with our Lord Jesus. This is proving to be especially difficult for her daughters and our mother. Please pray for God's peace and comfort for us. We know she is in a better place and are glad she is no longer suffering, but we miss her a lot. You have built an amazing group of followers who have always shown such encouragement to each other. Thank you Dr. Lee, for being the one God is using to bring this diverse group together.

You could have just said A DOG. Do you have to say the breed to give them even worse of a reputation? Sorry but people like you are the reason pitbulls get added to their already tainted reputation. They are like that because of us nasty humans. Pits aren't bad. WE make them bad. You could have told this story WITHOUT mentioning the breed. I have two. Could have simply said a dog to keep the fear down from certain breeds that people tend to treat like complete trash. The dog probably didn't have rabies at all just BAD OWNERS and lots of trauma and trust issues. Should have gotten a better owner

So glad the pups aren't showing any symptoms. You are so right about our public health info. A dear friend of mine saw a baby bat clinging to her screen and brought it in her home. I could not convince her, no matter how hard I tried, that there is no do-over for rabies. She kept saying that NUMBER of infections are so low....She just didn't get the statistic that mattered (100% fatal). I even linked the people that did die in our state...She thought I was being prejudiced against bats. PS Your car's color is pure magic. The car is absolutely gorgeous - Come to Detroit for Dream Cruise! 💙

Have you shown us the green one and I missed it? I’m betting it’s just as spectacular as Goldie. I was talking to my sister in Fredericksburg, have you considered renting some places on your property for the April eclipse? My sister and I are trying to figure out the best way to do it. I just know there is a lot of $$$$ to be had by simply renting out small spaces for someone to pitch a tent or park an RV, just to watch an eclipse. The prices I’m seeing that people are paying is ridiculous, but they want to be in the Hill Country on April 8th. Anyway, take care and I’ll keep praying for you all.

I am in LOVE ❤❤❤❤! With the Corvettes! They are gorgeous! Hope you had a fun & safe day with everything going on. It would have been great if Matt’s resort renovations had been done…or isn’t it close enough to be involved with housing so many people? If he is, maybe he & company can ‘git ‘er dun’ by April! Over 20 years ago, we lost 2 of our fur babies (kitties) to a bad reaction to their rabies shots. One was a rescue indoor/outdoor, the other one was a stay indoors little Himalayan. They both developed inoperative tumors traced back to their rabies vaccinations. How I know this is bc I started some research about the subject & during said research, I came across several op-ed’s…remember those?…& found out this had been a county wide problem. People were very upset & wanted to know why their fur babies were getting sick. It spurred the investigation & that’s where it came to light that apparently there had been something wrong with the vaccine. Also, the injection site…in the shoulder…was found out to be a problem too. There were changes made, that vaccine was pulled & they changed the recommended injection site be in the rump/hip of the animal. We continued to get our babies vaccinated but my question is…if your baby is strictly indoors, absolutely no outdoor exposure…do they still need the vaccination? Through the years, we’ve never had any more problems. We did change it up a bit, with the approval of our vet…begrudgingly…not to vaccinate our indoor babies & if we had any indoor/outdoor cats, they learned staying indoors wasn’t such a bad trade off to having a longer, healthier & happy life. They get all the other required shots…but in the back of my mind, I still wonder if we’re making the right decision??

Glad to see yu so upbeat Dr. Lee. I'm so happy to see you so excited for your car show & your Marty McFly glasses to see the eclipse. I would like to tell you & everyone that my Mother lost her 20 year battle to cancer back on August 19th, 2023. She doesn't have to fake being ok anymore. Everytime I or the doctor would ask her how she was she would tell us she was ok. Well she wasn't & I didn't find out until the day she pasted away with only me in the room, her only child. Yes, I was mad @ 1st but I can see her point to not make me worry about her. But i always look @ how I could of been there for her holder her & repeating how much I loved her & everything she did & was there for me. But I stop & thank God for ending her pain. Right before she got where she could barely talk I asked her if she had Jesus in her heart & she said yes. So I know she's with God & her parents. I long to see them all one day again, but not for awhile if God allows me to stick around this earth for sometime. Thanks for letting me write some feels down. You have a wonderful weekend, God bless, Chris from Missouri

Maine is a great place for the spring even, it might be chilly, but maybe not, depends on how far north you’re willing to go to see it. Further north means more privacy, less people, more life. Rabies… I’m glad you’re doing well, staying busy and safe. Really had me worried, I showed up looking for more project videos and found Rabie Babies! Do you still have wildlife cameras running? I miss them. Busy summer, I miss my ranch family in Texas… It’s funny how the years fly. I started out researching a firearm and found Matt’s projects and in turn your paternal wisdom. Now the Ranch has become a part of my life. A thousand miles away yet here I am. Thanks for sharing. Might be going to San Antonio, had friends move there. It’s a very good excuse to visit. My Uncle has a place in Texas too, but spends most of his time overseas working for the Army. He’s going retire eventually. I’d like to see a lot of Texas when I go. It’s loosely in the 5 year plan. Maybe I’ll get lucky and get to bump into y’all. Thanks again for sharing.

Thanks for the video update Dr Lee. I am glad your furbabies are managing being caged up, it must be so difficult for them and all of you as well. It would be so heartbreaking not being able to give them the usual love and affection and normal interaction. As I live in Australia we don’t have rabies, so I have never known much about it, all I now know is what you told us about the isolation and how you can’t even touch your pets, that alone has to be devastating, but each day gone is another closer to then coming out. I LOVE your old cars they are stunning and so immaculate! I would love to see a more detailed video of them. They certainly don’t build cars as strong and as solid as back then. Hope you had fun at the car show, and the overwhelming amount of visitors didn’t cause you much disruption to your town. I saw the video where Matt is wanting to get his RV area ready in time for the eclipse next year. I’m sure he will be overrun with people wanting to camp there for that event. You could probably mark off an area away from your home for visitors to park their RV’s too, make some money out of the event, with so many coming from far and wide to watch it, even though it would be a bit disruptive, it might be worth it for a few days. Good luck with your dog’s isolation and glad there are no other animals around your property showing signs of being affected, which is a good thing. Take care Dr Lee and your family, love from Australia ❤❤️❤️🙏🏻

It was nice to see your post this morning, enjoying you with my morning coffee ☕️! I’m glad the dogs and cats are ok so far. One thing I’d like to see in the upcoming rabies video, how does it start? Meaning where did the virus come from to begin with?? How does a raccoon (example) come down with it, from a flea? A tick? Just a germ they carry that suddenly activates? I hope you car does well at the car show! It is beautiful! Have fun, take care!! By the way we got to see the eclipse a bit here, only a partial about 80%. We had a hole in a piece of cardboard and the light reflected on to another piece. Gave us a good view of it without straining our necks looking up!! 😂😂 bye for now! ❤️❤️

Hey there Brother Lee, I'm so happy your dogs are doing well, and I hope this continues. We were in Odessa for the eclipse today and got some great pics. We traveled to Missouri for the last total eclipse a few years back, and won't need to go anywhere for next April's. Total eclipses are an amazing experience, just pray for a clear day. Take care, Dan

Good news about the pups! I look forward to your next upload. Greetings from the piedmont of Georgia where rabid raccoons are, alas, not rare.

Glad to hear you fur babies are doing well 🐾❤️🩹👍🥰❣️ The video about rabies would be interesting as we don't have Rabies here in Hawai'i. I don't know much about it at all. I would love to see this Eclipse but we don't usually get them HERE 💔. Not sure why ... Might have something to do with where we are situated near the equator. Have fun at your car show👍❣️ 💞 ALOHA FROM HAWAI'I 💞🌹 LYSSA 🌹

I'm glad your dogs are okay. Just after seeing your last video I saw a raccoon stumbling around in traffic early one morning. Everyone was driving around it and I saw a couple people making calls about it so I hope it got dealt with. Just around the corner in a park I saw a couple deer and there are lots more so hopefully rabies doesn't spread over to them. I'd love to see your video about rabies. Apparently it's not rare around the Chesapeake where i just moved to.

I know what you mean about a town set up to handle 10,000 people but is trying to stack in many more. Here on the Gulf Coast in Rockport, we get overrun every weekend. And like Boerne, this weekend, we are also in the bullseye of the eclipse. Our little town like every other in the area has been pushing the Annular Eclipse. Hope you weekend went well.

Hello Dr. Lee, I'm Glad all are doing well despite the Rabies Issues down there . I considered myself lucky back in the 90's to be near an Annular Eclipse, I remember the creepy light from the sun, and come April I am in the direct path of the Total Eclipse, I can't wait to see it. I hope your town survived all the Festivities...lol

I love your little town...got room for one more? Lol just kidding. But if I had to move out of Florida I'd consider it. Glad the puppers are doing well. Still battling the mocs here and there's one huge monster of a critter that keeps standing up in the water and looking right at me before diving down and disappearing almost to mock me but one day his number will be up. I've never seen one so big and he has to be around 4' long and around as my forearm. Cooler weather is coming though and I suspect he wont be spending much time in the colder water which should make it easier to get rid of him. Corvettes looking fantastic by the way! God bless

I’m looking forward to more info about rabies, I was telling someone about your story and the quarantine time and they told me that’s not necessary! I told them you were a veterinarian and had talked to the state but of course I was wrong 😏 People do need educated, I had no idea until I watched your video. I hope your day at the car show was great !!! Blessings
