I live 8 Miles West and it was definitely awesome. We enjoyed the previous partial eclipse several years ago but this was totally different. The cheers erupted out here in this little town. What an experience.

Thanks, KJRH. My son (who grew up in Claremore) and family flew from California to view the eclipse and ended up in Russellville. Fun to watch this!

I went to see it in Russelville. Met some really nice folks. The eclipse was unparalleled.

It's not compareble to sunset or twilight since the color temperature remains unchanged at ~5600K while it gets darker and darker. I lived it back in 2006 which was a totally different feeling.
