I’ve been using mine for a month now and love them (one for whites and one for colors). Clothes smell clean not perfumed, and feel clean too. Not sure about the worry about the rinse cycle but it doesn’t appear to be an issue. Anyone concerned about no suds doesnt understand how clothes are cleaned. Suds don’t clean clothes! They’re cleaned because the soap is a surfactant, which causes dirt to release from the clothing and then holds on to it through the rinse cycle and is flushed away.

i have used something like this before, i think it was called the "incedi ball" worked the same way i couldnt tell the difference from the soapy washes and the ball wash for cleanliness but like Raq scents bother me too sometimes. i dont see me buying one and at $20 for the egg and $10 for refills thats pretty costly for me. last year i bought my 2 year supply of soup that i think will turn into a 3 or maybe even a 4 year supply for only $6 and its hard not to beat that. but for someone who does a lot of loads it may be worth it for them, like you Cathy, great review guys.

its not really what the brand is, but i guess how much you do laundry i do a load a week so when i get a good deal on some that does 32 or 62 loads you can see why i can wash for so cheap, i watch the sales real close and i buy buy buy at that low price. this last time i bought soap it was X-tra 50 loads per bottle at 88cents per bottle.

Interesting. I've been doing a lot of research on laundry balls and this one looks it might actually do something. One test I read about did laundry with a regular laundry ball (not the ecoegg), then no detergent (water only), then with conventional laundry detergent., All 3 wash loads yielded the same results! That's why most of us need to use laundry boosters. I always use regular Clorox for whites, Clorox II for colors and a stain remover like Shout!. It looks like I can safely ditch the detergent and replace it with the ecoegg.

OK ladies, I love all the effort you have put into this review. I'm sure Cathy's family is happy to get their laundry done after she's been waiting for this egg to come in the mail. Besides the great action shot's of someone doing laundry I found myself mesmerized by Rachel's shirt. Now, her hair kept hanging down over the lettering.... I just kept staring at her chest (which I'm sure she's use to) so I could see what she was selling! I thought it was "AM Revolt"....but after staring at her pulling down her top and her hair moved for a minute I think I seen "AM Revoir" or maybe "AU Revoir". What the hell is it??? As far as laundry I take mine down to "Senior Bubbles" on cleveland street. It's only 99 cents a pound and great for a single guy. His advertisement says... Come to Senior Bubbles his prices can't be beat Senior Bubbles is always so discreet If you poo your underwear Senior Bubbles he don't care Senior Bubbles here on Cleveland Street :)

After reading the comments, it'd be so funny if Rachel looked into the camera and said, "My eyes are up here!" Once a month, on the hottest setting, wash with a cup of baking soda and then a cup of white vinegar, especially a front loader. It makes a world of difference. Also, if you can stand it Cathy, which I doubt for some reason, prop the door open so it can air dry when not being used.

Hi can i ask how you are finding it now long term. i watched another American lady doing a review and whilst she thought it was amazing, she later reported on her review thread she sent it back after a month as she said it wore her clothes out? and left residues after the initial use. I have bought one that is hint of lavender and just over 800 uses. There are so many on the market now. i also bought the dryer balls with the essential oils, havent used them yet either. Oh well worth a try. thanks for your review. Mala

The EcoEgg is unique in every way...it washes clothes clean, maintains bright colours because it does not contain harsh chemicals, it is fine for baby's skin (detergent is not fine for sensitive skin), it is environmentally friendly for our water systems, it does not add to the pollution caused by one-use- plastic laundry bottles, it replaces detergent and fabric softener, it comes in fragrance free, it does 720 washes for $40.00 (if you do one wash weekly it will last 14 years), what more could anyone wish for, this is a no-brainer. Now in Canada pcrsolutions.ca order it now

@2centchick

I’m not sure about the science behind it, but just search the Q & A on Amazon and someone else asked the same question. Here was one of the replies. A: I am recently a retired Dry Cleaning coin laundry owner. Just so you know less is more, laundry soap builds up residue on your clothing I know it seems like those bubbles are just cleaning away all that dirt but actually it's ruining your clothes/towels etc.... people would ask me all the time "why do my cloths get a sour smell or mostly my towels?" Well, it's because there is so much soap that honestly, never rinses out leaving a residue behind on your clothes wash after wash causing your clothes to get drab looking after time, for many, many years I have share this information with my customers. So anway using a low or no suds product is the best way to wash your clothes, I used borax and washing machine soda that I bought at Walmart nothing fancy it was the best, I used this in all my customers washable laundry and in my own for years their cloths were clean and bright and smelled good. Now I have the Ecoegg it works very well but, I do add about 1/2 cup of borax and washing machine soda to my towels and whites for that extra brightening boast. So don't let those old wives tales fool you because seriously hon suds doesn't make clean laundry. Oh and it won't build up in your washing machine so all of what I have recommended will keep your washing machine clean. No need to buy washing machine cleaners. Hope that helps!
@francis_n
5 жыл бұрын
Suds don't mean better clean. That's a psychological effect to make you feel the product is working better. If you place the eco egg in a large bowl and run water over and shake you will see some suds. But suds don't equal better wash. For example, toothpaste doesn't have to smell like fresh mint to clean your teeth, but would you use toothpaste that didn't leave your breath smelling minty fresh? It's marketing. In fact, this is the history of chewing gum. Chewing gum is just a form or rubber, they added mint and sugar to make it taste good to give you that fresh mint smell and it prompted sales. It's marketing psychology

Tabs T that’s not true at All. Psychologically ppl think foam and fragrance amounts to clean hence you’re making false claims . I’ve been using it for 6 months with a family of 8. The parents have medical issues so they need stain removers. But I would need stain removers with even chemical detergents so it’s not a problem for me. I was sceptical but it works very well with regular worn clothing. If you have stains use a remover before using . I’m not going back to chemical detergent since I don’t need it

khawla, does the stain remover cause any problems with the Egg? I have 5 kids and so we always have stains. Every review besides this one says it’s not good at stain removal. Also, does it last as long as it’s advertised? (Obviously not a year with a family that large, just mean washes) Would love to know from some who does a ton of laundry.
