Way back 2017, I was 17 yrs old when I discovered shopify and I started watching those gurus, I badly wanted to try it, so nag try ako gumawa ng store but it fails cause I don't have bank account and some stuff😟then I discussed it with my mom and I got rejected. I just know in my heart that I don't want to work in 9-5 job or be stuck in the rat race I want to be financially free and job is not the answer, but I'm so scared to dissapoint her cause she want me to finished college. I'm 19 now and I have a litte money in my pocket, Im happy I find your channel and I started educating myself again, you inspired me ❤️ please share more thank you. Ps: sorry po for the drama😟

Hi Sharmine! I'm glad that I have somewhat inspired you in pursuing your entrepreneurship journey. Comments like yours mean a lot to me. :) With regards to your concern, I think it's important to have a balance of both -- fulfilling your daughter duties and fulfilling your dream to have your own business. What I think you can do is to just start small. I also started my first business at 16. I used to buy jewelry items from Divi and resell it at Multiply. My initial capital was just P1,000 at that time. I think if you have limited resources at this time. You can also do a similar thing - perhaps research what product you think would sell. You don't have to open a Shopify store right away. You might want to start selling on Shopee or Instagram then as your business funds grows, you can start selling on Shopify and start scaling your business. Hope that helps! Don't give up! I'm rooting for you! :)

what are your tips/suggestions when starting an online business? parang ang hirap kasi mag-isip at magbenta ng product online considering na may lazada at shopee na lahat andon na at ang mumura pa

Hi Anjo, My suggestion is to find an underserved market then produce content that gives value to them. In that way, you’re not only just selling a physical product. You will then be giving your customers a sense of community.

By the way, how do you manage your books of accounts? Do you use any integration? Or write it manually?

Quickbooks integration. But BIR also requires the manual books.
