Phil Gilmore shows us how the Entity-Component-System Architecture (ECS) can be used to build a game engine. He has built a small game engine with it and demonstrates it by building an small RPG game, Ultimate Fiction.
Here is the source, though the game is terribly incomplete and this is our first attempt at ECS. But it is the code used in this video:
