I've had eczema my entire life. I'm 30 years old and I've tried everything under the sun and nothing was ever effective. My coworker saw my skin one day and gave to me a bottle of neem oil. I never gave it much thought and just put it away and didn't think about it. That was a couple of months ago. Just recently I got a really bad eczema break out I was so desperate and applied some of that neem oil and guess what, it stopped the itch in its tracks! Never in my entire life have I taken something natural and applied it to my skin and have it stop the itch its tracks! Its been a couple of days and the eczema on the back of my knees are peeling off to reveal fresh skin underneath. Guys who ever reads this, please try neem oil, it will make a huge difference. I am able to sleep throughout the night without waking up itching. Neem oil!

Thank you for sharing your story!!! So many people are suffering and need to know of all that one is trying in helping stop this Eczema. I too had an outbreak back in 2008 and felt so depressed. I am so grateful that through a change of diet and temporary use of the creams prescribed, I am back to feeling confident. I still get a little bit of it every now and then and know stress is a big contributor. I try to be a very positive person but sometimes it's not easy. Thanks again!!! Peace and love!

The most important thing to remember is to always love yourself for who you are❤️ I have had severe eczema since the aged of 2 and am now 22 years old. I would constantly cover up every inch of my body even when it was scorching heat outside and was the most insecure little girl. It would sometimes leave me with suicidal thoughts because I had just had enough of trying without any positive response. I became emotionally unstable and literally hated myself. Until one day somebody cured me with just her kind words. Her words were “there’s nothing wrong with you and nobody thinks there is so why do you? If you tell yourself your not well you won’t feel good about yourself. So tell yourself your fine and you will be.” And I did so. I stopped caring about what people thought, I focused on being happy in my skin and accepted who I was. And from that point my skin started healing. My skin is now better than ever to the point where you can hardly tell that I ever had eczema. So if you are struggling then please just love yourself because being happy with yourself is the key to it all.

I so needed to hear this. Hearing a story where something actually worked. I'm sat here with a pins and needles sensation across my whole body, my skin is already cracking with multiple open sores and I'm already thinking about the closest object that I can use to damage the skin on my back in order for the itching sensation to go away for a little while. I've been applying moisturiser on myself all day and I'm at the point of wanting to cry once again from feeling hopeless. But you know what, I think you're right. I REALLY, really hope that dairy is the answer because it would explain a lot.

Thank you so much for this. Basically my skin has been addicted to a stronger steroid ever since I was born. I am 24 now and I felt like there had to be another way, so I went to a fancy dermatologist here in my area, and they kept trying to either give me a stronger steroid or they said, "have you tried plain old Vaseline?" ----Uuuhhh, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! So I took matters into my own hands and I tried the lactose free diet - I have fewer skin inflammations, fewer ASTHMA attacks as well! OH! and I've never really had it on my face until about a year and a half ago, and it is A.W.F.U.L, I've never been so embarrassed before. Thankfully it is clearing up just in time for my wedding in March. Aanyway, thank you so much for sharing your story.

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for sharing your story. It's amazing to see stories like this pop up, as I, myself have eczema too. It's been roughly 3 months since I had a huge flare up of eczema. I went through several moisturisers, cleansers, creams and all of that, even anti biotics and steroids. This happened on Christmas eve and I went to the hospital Christmas day of last year. As I think of it, I'm 17 with food allergies, pet allergies, seasonal allergies and even dust allergies. There are so many factors and triggers to my eczema. My eczema took a toll on me, because it was on my face and neck. Showering would hurt my skin, and I would be afraid to shower. I would detest it so much. I was basically a reptile during that time, I was scaling so much and my self confidence fell with it. I was swelling and all my family during that time, questioned my face and asked if I were okay. It took around a month for my skin to heal, rebuild its barriers. I went through more drugs then I needed too. I took at least 4 pills a day, prescribed by the hospital. I took another 4 pills a day after seeing my dermatologist. The pills from the hospital did stop the inflamed skin and cooled it. After I finished taking them, my skin started to shed but then it flamed up again. I went from using my regular cera ve, to tryinng cetaphil again, to vaseline, curel and then I met a lady at my local drug mart in the cosmetics section. This was roughly in the beginning of January. I was once agian trying another cosmetics product, which I really had no faith in. It was called Bioderma, and the other Avene. This lady had a niece which had eczema. We obviously tested the product. It was a bioderma sensitive skin facial moisturiser which closed my cracks in my skin. God, it hurt like hell but I sat in the store and waiting. Then she gave me Avene hand creme to put on my face. For the mean time of 2 weeks, it did work on my face until my face started to retort it and go back to being dry. We went to try something new and met another person who actually had eczema herself. She introduced me to La Roche Posay. This was roughly late January. I was using their Lipikar line of shower gel and baume ap + cream. These two things have improved my skin, but now my skin is just dry, The cream does nothing to help my skin. It's weird but I can rub off my skin after continuosly rubbing it when it is wet. My dead skin can peel off with rubbing. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas? I'm deciding on going back to see if the same lady is there and maybe I could use something less concentrated on the lipids of my skin. I need to remove my dry skin. That's all that is left to do. I'm also deciding on maybe testing my diet because I'm realising chicken is starting to bother me now.

ive been an acne sufferer for most of my life. due to having acne, my face was constantly oily but few months back it became somewhat dry. i thought i finally grew out of it however, i discovered weird patches on my sideburn area and the back of my neck. so i decided to get it checked, the specialist couldn't confirm what it was and did a biopsy however she still couldn't make out of the results. On my follow up earlier today with another doctor, she confirmed with me it was eczema and ive got new patches on my back and on my legs (which i guess makes it obvious). she told me that people could grow out of child eczema however adult eczema is "here to stay". my heart sank when i heard that. after watching your video, i felt inspired and i know all hope is not lost. I wonder, why specialists always give us steroid? They really don’t know other and better ways to helps us ( of course specialists are smart and rich and read a lot of book) they don’t know terrible it is? I just went to see a Super expensive specialist in skin center and 5 hrs Q, then she just give me same cream happily event I reject and say I decided not to use it anymore, but she say the cream is helping me anyway. Omg what happened in their mind pls, save this specialists will be more effective, the doc really got problems.

Im so happy that i found you! I always felt so alone when it came to this topic as none of my friends seemed to have it or only had it at a very mild level. I've never known a life without eczema as i had it even as a tiny baby. My eczema was so bad at some points that when i wake up and get out of bed, the sheets and pillow would be covered in blotches of blood from my eczema. I couldn't move some parts of my body sometimes coz it just was so sore and i was even hospitalised for a short amount of time (recently discharged as an out-patient now!!). Now it's calmed down a lot with the help of steroid creams (as much as i despise using and relying on them) but it still flames up every now and then and I'm constantly reminded when it calms down with scars all over my body. seriously hoping your tip will help me with my eczema journey!! :)

One thing I know is, what works for me might not work for you, and vice versa. People have different eczema triggers. for example, mine are nuts/soy.I'm asian, so nearly in every food there's nuts/soy 😩. I know about this when I went to my dermatologist and he run some test on me (simmilar to an allergy test). After finding that out, I completely changed my diet, and my eczema started to go away😄 (It has been about 3 years since I have eczema). My suggestion is that you get an appointment with your dermatologist and sit down to figure your trigger. hope this helps 😊. TIPS ON ON DEALING WITH THE ITCHY-NESS: - soak in cold water/rub with ice cube - if using oil doesn't help then STOP. it means that the oil is no longer moisturizing your skin, it's actually starting to 'clog' it.so, HYDRATE your skin with water not OIL it 😳 - try to use products that doesn't have sls (sodium laureth sulfate) in it. it dries your skin. I suggest looking at baby products.

Morning ; i wash my face with my facewash and then i apply homemade curd to all over my face . When it cms dry , i spray some water and leave it to dried out again ! Then again ; washed my face with water and apply pure alovera gel to the affected area for 5-6 hrs .. After that ; I applied oil to the area .. before going to sleep ; i wash my face with again face wash and apply Boroline to it !! 1 Avoid items which u r allergic to it 2 Do not leave ur home for the next few days untill ur skin gets better ! 3 drink alott off water as u can ! It helps ur skin hydrated 4 Do not use sunscreen ; it smetyms makes ur skin dry 5 Avoid coffee 6 Do not wash ur face unnecessarily This way works on me within 4-5days! I know this has been way too long but i do hope this helps honestly!

Actually, I haven't find anything to cure my eczema but I didn't really understand what have you used to cure yours? I'm sorry I'm French and I just understand that it is a powder (I think). So thank you if you read my comment and I hope you've definitely cured that eczema! It's really hard to live with and I'm happy for you to have find that product that finally cured it!

I have only got eczema since having Moderna booster vaccination. Yes a DVT in my left leg first which developed into eczema . Never had it before the vaccination. I also saw two similar cases in the hospital on the legs of two other people like mine. I suffered with this for four months until our local health nurse seen me and diagnosed it and started treatment to deal with it. So if anyone you know has had a rash after the vaccination there’s a good chance it’s eczema and get them to see their health care people and arrange treatment for it.

Hi! I am 11 years old and I need more advice for my skin. I also suffer from eczema. I always felt ashamed of my skin because when I was younger, my classmates didn’t want to to touch me because they thought it was contagious. And I never knew what to do until I just started researching now. Then, I saw this vid then I almost cried because this is so relatable so I want more advice. I didn’t always have eczema. I think I started having this when maybe Grade 1 or 2. Thank you so much! :D You’re an inspiration! 😊😢

Wow I really love and appreciate this video. I've had eczema since I was little and it would always come and go but recently I've had a really severe breakout . Like literally , when I was younger I would only get eczema in certain places but about 3-4 months ago I Broke out with chest acne. I never had that a day in my life but anyways shortly after that it began to spread to my scalp which is the worse .The first doctor I went to gave me TWO steroid shots , THREE different medications, & 3 different creams to use on my body . I regret it so much ! At first I didn't really think much of it because I was willing to do anything to get better . After taking those meds for about 3 weeks my eczema cleared for literally 1-2 weeks and came back even worse then before. I had it all over my scalp, my face, under my chin, my chest, my back, my stomach, waisteline, and even under my breasts. When i went to a second doctor he diagnoised me with seborrohic dermatitis. Once again I never suffered from eczema this bad. I've been to about 3 doctor's and they all do the same they proscribed you with all types of meds which really don't work . I even changed my bedding as well but that does not help . I then started doing research and every article I read tells you to stay away from the steroids they DO NOT help at all . Watching your video just confirmed everything I read, and your so right your diet is a huge part. I eat horrible ! All I eat is fast food and sugary products. I noticed right after I drink something with a lot of sugar I start stratching again. The only thing i found so far that soothes me is the Eucerin Intensive Care Lotion & i believe its because it has caster oil in it . I thank you so much for this I'm going to change my entire diet because I can't take this anymore. Everything you said in this video is SOOOO TRURE ! Having chronic eczema is EXTREMELY Depressing!

Cortisone and Eucerin together are great! You can buy both creams at any of your local pharmacy, it really helped me out with rashes on my face :)

After moving to Japan from Malaysia, my skin stopped breaking out after that last approximately painful 2 weeks withdrawal, as long as I don't consume cow's milk. I think their Miso soup contributed quite significantly to this. I also thought that I should probably eat more Natto since most probiotics out there derived from milk. I stopped using steroid creams since 3-4 months ago.

Try coconut oil to soothe itching. Leave overnight. (Caution: Strong odour. wear old cloth and wash separately in water at 35 deg celsius or higher.) Try tea tree oil for disinfection etc Odour is not too bad.Leave for some hours. Try rubbing Epsom salt on it. As soon as that's unbearable rinse off.

I’ve always had eczema on my hands to the point where it’s now effected my nails. This winter eczema started showing up on my feet, it’s so bad right now that I cannot wear closed in shoes, I’m over it. I’ve been vegetarian for many years, however my diet is very processed and bad. I’m going to try avoiding dairy and gluten for a week and see how my feet go 🤞

just remember that people have different reactions to foods and things we use. like milk. for me milk is so good I love dairy but it also makes my skin really bad and in flamed. cold water is something you should use when your skin fells in flamed but don't just jump in a shower use ice cubs and dab them on so the skin will feel nice and that can take away flamed skin and is really nice

I really enjoyed your video! I've had ongoing flare ups on my face and neck and I never thought about my diet. I'm definitely going to cut dairy out of my diet to see if I start feeling better. Thanks for the advice!
