Definitely not a power monster, but surely proves why the small Honda C90 are bullet proof. Honestly never imagined it could take so much beaten and still maintain it's heartbeat. ;-)

These and the Honda Wave engines are not powerful, but incredible tough. They go up on every sloop, they do not complain overloaded with two passengers or even the entire family, they pull you through every shxt.

Just remember Ed has replaced its engine several times, re-pistoned it several times and re-ringed it several times. It is a great little motorcycle but just think how many miles your car or truck would have on it if it was on its 8th engine. Just a thought

Yeah no an air-cooled opposed twin would never hit 28.000miles 😂 . You know the bigger 800cc or 1000cc ones run way past 60.000 before needing something....

Found one these in a stream once. On it's side. Filled it up with a mixture of moonshine and petrol. The dammed thing started. It had been in there for at least 10 years. That was Ireland. So it had been fully submersed... Many a time. Our jaws dropped.

this has just made me realise that if ed can do what he has done with just over 6hp i dont need to upgrade to a bigger bike to travel. i can use my 15hp derbi terra adventure 125 to do the travelling i want to do

The difference is that he rode a bike that's well made (it's a Honda, not some Chinese noname) and it's very very popular meaning parts are readily available basically everywhere. I highly doubt the same can be said for whatever was the name of your thing.

These mopeds are used to replace horses on the old horse wagons where I live, 6hp is a huge upgrade over 1hp... And those wagons carry up to half a ton of rice or corn.
