I was gonna ask about this loop. And You read my mind and did the video. This is amazing that holds five years. 😊

The iron's coercivity retains a bit of stored energy in a low reluctance magnetic path. The energy is stored in the retained magnetic field exhibited in magnetic domain alignment of the steel. Once an airgap was introduced into the magnetic circuit, the higher reluctance path could not hold as much the magnetic field and the domains started to randomize and the change magnetic field induced a current in the coils and dusipated the energy that had been stored in the magnetic circuit.

wow, came back to your channel just to find out the same old experiment that made me subscribe to have an +5year update.

Very cool. I knew it would years ago, and finally you two two proved it to me. Thanks! PMH is permanent magnetic holder?

I think it was motion rather than magnetic.

It's a CEH! Conservation of Energy Holder! Now, put an insulator (like paper) between the U and the keeper and do it.

With the effort such a yank takes, would the bulb be made to light up from a setup where we KNOW there was no energy stored? I think it easily could. So was the energy really there or was the yank just a reverse electromagnet un-firing to get the little jolt? The really cool bit to me is that it will act like a magnet for as long as it's connected and there's no decay. So perhaps it's more a STATE than a current, the way it's been sitting there for years?

Very sweet, think I remember you building this, and always been into Leedskalnin's work.

Great to see you dabbling again. :) Loved the rc vids lately. Silly idea but what if instead of using electromagnetic waves to send signal to rc units, you use quantum entangled atoms. Would you have unlimited range?

is that literally just magnets and coils? can you do a 3 month and a 6 month test?

That is not even what that is supposed do. Ed Leadskin copied this from Hendershot. That horse shoe magnet and the 2 coils vibrating a steel rod made the Hendershot generator and Ed From the rock castle in Florida helped him build. Then Ed made his to move his boulders

How is this principle used in the Hendershot Generator? Experiments show the magnetic flux in there is static and unchanging until the core is opened.

Ed leedskalnin perpetual motion holder. Horseshoe bar and cross brace get locked together, as if one were magnetic (neither are), through a little electric jolt. The pieces stay locked indefinitely and the jolt put in seemingly (I'm not so sure) is gotten back when pulling the cross brace off again. But maybe it's just a single winding MGU of sorts? The perpetual part is the intereting one for me. It's not a lot of "storage" and I've never seen anyone find a way to boost that storage by the multiple powers of magnitude to make it (in my opinion) useful as a capacitor.
