I have custom dogtags with personal info on them. On that heavy chain, I carry a Nitecore Tube flashlight, a signal whistle, my padlock key which fits 4 locks around the place and a P-38. Something I never hear guys talk about, but which comes in handy, and I have used it many times is the P-38 can be used as a straight screw driver, but also the corner works quite well as a Phillips head screw driver for medium and larger screws. Those are around my neck 24/7. If, for some reason, I think I will need a little extra, I have an S-biner with a Gerber Vise mini multi tool and an Olight 3E EOS flashlight with a single AAA battery. As far as pockets go, it varies for most things, but I have a refillable "Zippo-type" butane lighter I carry most all the time. Thanks for the video. It was fun to see what you carry. Appreciate your work. Keep breathin'.

My EDC is close to the same as yours. I carry a survivor cord lanyard on my keys Instead of the kubaton and my multitool is a one handed trekker. I also carry the i3t olight I think it is and a Bark River Little Creek in a pocket sheath together. I carry the ferro rod that came with the Mora eldris on my key ring as well as the small one woven into the lanyard. I also carry a bandana every day. There's some other things that I change out but those are always on me. Great job on the video!

Just a suggestion. Instead of the kubotan on your keyring you could replace it with an LED 2aaa cell mini maglite flashlight. It can be used in the same way as a kubotan for self-defense but with the added advantages of shining it in an attackers eyes to gain an extra advantage, also you will always have a flashlight with you which comes in handy, and, unlike the kubotan, you can take it anywhere with you

Hey, friend, got a couple things - some of which have been said below: a whistle (not a big old clunky thing, but one of those little pencil width tubular whistles (about $7 for ten of them on Amazon) - very loud and weigh almost nothing; a flashlight (I prefer the O-Light i3E EOS, tiny, good for keychain, runs on one AAA); and off the keychain I have a small ziploc bag containing an altoid-tin med kit ( some wipes, some triple antibiotic sachets, some bandaids, some gauze pads, and some tape . . . also, since I'm a bleeder, some clotting powder). And NEVER forget the magical Shroud of Mystery - a bandana (or three). Happy trails!!!!!

Brother I carry mostly what you have in one form or another. I carry a knife similar to yours but also a SAK which has several great functions on it.It has a small magnifying lens on it which will start a fire for me. I did a video on that earlier. I also carry some portable reading glasses for closeup reading . I also carry a steel striker in case I find a likely rock while walking. I can test it to see if it will throw sparks. I have a small but very bright single battery flashlight that I need regularly. Of course a Ferro rod. I'm sure I have forgotten a few items. Ha ha. Thanks for sharing pal.

On my wrist i wear a paracord wristband with a whistle, a ferro rod, striker and a compass. Keychain set up like an admin chord on the top near my karabiner a tic tool and kiss of life. At the other end a Victorinox Fieldmaster and a small crank light next to my keys. In my wallet (left cargo pocket)a book of matches, a card tool (free with a purchase gift), a whistle, an old card with duct tape and several wet wipes. In my right cargo pocket a bag, a comb, several medical masks and nitrile gloves. Also a spare bandana and disposable handkerchiefs. My shirt pocket a tactical pen containing a ferro rod, a small container with bandaids a pen and notebook. The jacket depends on what i am doing and where i am. Usually it contains a way to navigate several ways to make fire including a true utility firelight. A head light, a torch, a solar powerbank with cable that can charge my phone and the two main sources of light. It also always contains a knife that has a seatbelt cutter and a window breaker. The rest is dependent on the place, time and who is with me.

Pen (if I don't have sharpie) Clipped to my belt loop I always have my leatherman style ps Right back pocket Black Mechanix gloves Around my neck CRKT S.P.E.W Right wrist ALWAYS a paracord bracelet sometimes one on my left as well Wrapped around my belt about 10' of paracord if I remember correctly Somethings change every once in awhile but that's basically my core EDC

Excellent EDC pocket dump. I have a similar carry with the addition of a small AAA flashlight on my key ring and a tube of Chap Stick in my pocket. I use to carry a kubaton on my key ring, but have long removed it. I am not trained to use it, and instead would now hold the paracord fob on my key ring as a handle and flail someone with my keys and attached tools. In place of your key sleeve tool thing (I've managed to break or mangle 2 of them over the last few years, I now have a SwissTech key tool and SOG key knife. Similar to you I pocket carry a Bic lighter and a non-serrated pocket knife. The pocket comb was and outstanding suggestion that I had never considered. It had never occurred to me to use the comb as a tick removal tool. I've had a fresnel lens in my wallet for so long that I forgot it was there enter I watched your video. The only really big miss in my EDC and possibly yours is the lack of a rescue whistle.
@WayPointSurvival

Thank you. It sound like your EDC is well planned out. The whistle is a good idea. You can, of course, make a whistle out of different objects if you wish, but carrying one would be easier.

I always carry a folding knife, a bic, some cordage, wallet, keys, watch, challenge coin, pen and cellphone. Other time I may carry my belt kit and sheath knife depending on destination or I will leave them in car. What I carry in pockets may vary as to what I am doing but the above is always there.

I ALWAYS catch myself on a daily basis, as a 62 year old widow, carrying a 3' or 12' Tape measure...nothing else...I had broken my ankle several years ago and didn't even have my cell phone on me to call for help...I had to crawl into the House, to call for help...😭 Do you think I learned? No, not me. I still only carry one of my tape measures in my pockets... I have old knifes everywhere around my wannabe farm, String, lighters, and other small tools, because I ALWAYS forget to take it with me in the first place. But my phone stays either in the House or just outside the front door. I have so far lost three phones somewhere on my property, by taking them with me. When I go into town, depending on where I go, I carry everything but the kitchen sink in my purse (its a huge Cotton Beach bag). As to here at Home, I have everything everywhere...just in case...🤣

I used to carry a Kubaton atached to my keychain, but I found that unconfortable. Now I use a tactical pen, and carrying it using its pocket clip make all the difference, it's really confortable and you have the same capabilities that you got with the kubaton (minus the "key/tools swing"). I also never had any problem with TSA in any airport. BTW, why do you carry a can and a bottle opener if you already have a multitool on you? Regards!

I would count on the fire for light. I use to carry a small flashlight but found it too bulky in my pocket and I have had them fail as well. And I don't want to put anything else on my belt as I already carry a multi-tool and cell phone. Again, this is my EDC so it's really a personal thing. I have no problem with a flashlight if that's what you want to carry.
