I never met anyone like Eddie before in my life... He is a modest genius and easy to be around and is an example of what any parent should want their Son to become. He comes from very modest beginnings and had the world in his hands and did positive things with his talent. Today's Billionair Recording Artists should learn from Eddie and follow his example.

I loved the Rascals saw them in Madison Square Garden. Had a major crush on Eddie as a young girl. I grew up and bought a small florist years later. One day a gentleman walked into my shop to check out a plant sale. Face to face with him I noticed the space in his smile and asked if he was Eddie Brigati. He showed me his drivers license to prove it and I had a melt down. If I live to be 100 I'll never forget that moment.

In the many bands I was with at the time we could never find a singer who could cover Eddie's high harmony parts! Eddie, you are awesome! And Dino was such a great showman and fantastic drummer! They deserve their place in the R&R Hall of Fame! I still love these guys and their music to this day. They were a huge influence on so many of us. I once met Eddie WAAAAYYYYY back around 1970, when I was a telephone repairman, and he walked into the apartment of a friend of his where I was working. Felix is the same exact way - very unpretentious. I met Fe in a chess club in Danbury, CT and we became friends. I love what Eddie said about even "the lowest person's opinion" is important. I was "the runt of the litter" in my family so I can really identify with that! LOL!

Well mopar man, I haven't seen Felix in years as he's in Nashville now, but when Felix played the Bottom Line back in the later 70s, Eddie was there with him backstage. And he used to come up to see Felix in Danbury, CT. I didn't think there was any falling out with them - at least not back then. Felix wrote their music and Eddie often the lyrics. Felix used to get a kick out of Eddie (who didn't right? LOL!) and told me about how awestruck he was when he heard "How Can I Be Sure" - They were havin' a hard time comin up with something and Eddie came up with that. Like WOW!

In the spring of 1969, the RASCALS came to the University of Tennessee, and at the last minute, someone gave me a ticket to go see them at the Stokely Athletic Center. I had to cut my evening calculus class which I was taking again after failing it the first time. But I made the decision that The Rascals were more important than my calculus class. And I was so glad I did, even to this day and I'm now 73. I remember the concert as if it were yesterday. Eddie was quite the dancer and singer and front man, Felix was just the backbone genius keyboard artist with his organ, and of course his voice. The drummer and guitarist were perfect. They tried out new songs on us including "It's a beautiful morning" and more important songs that appeared on their upcoming album in the late 60s. It was a peak experience. I went by myself, and I have enjoyed those memories ever since. What a band. What talent!! They played every hit they were famous for, and it was all so fresh and perfect. I was so disappointed that they didn't go much farther than that is The Rascals. I'm still waiting, I guess . . .

The “ ORIGINAL “ Rascals were my absolute favorite band when they were big. In fact my friends and I were in a band in high school and we did a lot of Rascals covers as well as played a show with them in Newport, RI as well as meeting them on the Jamestown Ferry. It was sad to see them break up. Now Dino and Gene , a bass player/vocalist and an organist/vocalist (who looks like John Travolta w/out a wig) have continued on as The New Rascals. Sorry, but without Felix and Eddie they’re done.
