@Robin Taylor I think he had addiction problems throughout his life and at this time. Thank God he got married and had a family. He seemed like a devoted husband and father in public.....that's what makes him more special to me. His unsung catalogue of great material I have discovered after his death.

Is the ballad "Nobody Knows"? I love that one, sounds like it came from Can't Hold Back. I was 14 in 1999 and that was just a bad time to release an 80s sounding album, the industry probably just never gave it a chance. I actually got it on a cassette tape back then lol

@The Ruthless Toothless It was on a much smaller record label, is why there wasn't much promotion. Great album.

@Kent Allard Those some would be very wrong. Eddie Money was great, no one could have done many of the songs he did the way he did it. There could never be another Money Man.

LOVE this song. Despite being 1999, if this had been the single and they pushed it on classic rock radio or VH1 as a comeback, it probably would've done well. Can't Go On was the single apparently, which is one of the weaker songs.

This song was the single from the album. For 2 weeks it was the #1 record added to radio. It was driven to classic rock stations and not top 40. Money was ticked about that. Top 40 went in a different direction then. This song would have been a top 5 in the 80's

incredible song and should have gotten him back on the radio...but you can say that about most of the releases on the CMC label. That label made the situation even more dire for most of its artists as they barely promoted any records they released, and did little to nothing to get singles out to radio.
