Definitely he should've been in there a while ago, but it seems that these days it's no longer Rock n Roll HOF.... Because, and this is just MY OPINION. But they're too busy adding Rappers now and HIPHop which frankly I absolutely feel it is NOT ROCK N ROLL!!! But anyway, let's all hope that whomever is running the show there, that they come back to their senses and realize if yr talking R n R then Eddie HAS to be included. My God, that man not only sang, but he wrote and played awesome sax and I believe piano too. I've been listening to him since I was about 15,16 I think. And I saw him so many times at Winterland in San Francisco and was NEVER disappointed. Plus he also totally lived a rock n Roll lifestyle as well. And thank God he was still with us to write about his experience another fabulous album that mostly everyone can relate to!

This is my favorite Eddie Money song. While No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 is still a hit I expected it to be much bigger. However, by that time, Eddie was in his early 40s, so he faced some age discrimination at mainstream radio. It got a massive amount of airplay on my local AC station when it was released. Then again, the station loved all his stuff. That's why I have such great memories of Eddie's songs because I grew up with his music. I remember the acoustic version of "Save a Little Room in Your Heart for Me" from "Unplug It In" got a bunch of airplay, too, on my local AC station in 1992.

I remember as a teenager, hitting rewind on my cassette player over and over and over to listen to this song after a youthful breakup. Somehow along the way, didn't hear the song for 20 years. Sitting at a bar one night, it came on, and I was stunned. Ended up walking 2 miles home pressing repeat on KZitem. It brought me back. A timeless song for anyone who has ever lost a love.

Give me one last look as you walk away I, I don't know what to say, I start callin' out your name But I just can't find the words, I know will change your mind I tried a thousand times but I just can't make it right Someday I pray there will come a day When I can open up my heart and love again Until then I'll get by, somehow I'll get by, I know I'll get by I take a look around, I see this lonely room I used to share with you, now I want to paint it blue 'Cause everywhere I turn, there's something else I find The notes you left behind were you tryin' to be kind Tell you somethin' baby, there will come a day When I can open up my heart and love again Until then I'll pretend, I'll play the fool Someday I'll find another someone just like you 'Til then I'll get by, somehow I'll get by, I know I'll get by My heart don't own me, can't think about it any more Love's just a memory surrounded by these lonely walls Lately I've been thinkin', I should move away No reason left to stay, this house is haunted anyway I'll tell you something baby, there will come a day When I can open up my heart and love again Until then I'll get by, somehow I'll get by, I know I'll get by

What a career he had and what a wonderful life he lived giving to all what he wanted to share...his passion for music. Now he can sing forever alongside the many who have gone on to Paradise. As for the rest of us, we'll still be holding on and still wishing we could go back and do it all over again. God Bless You Eddie and thank you for your Rock n Roll heart and soul, for there will never be another someone like you...Peace and Love Be With You and to your family. Apple Music randomly found this song for me last week, and I was like "holy cow this is a good song". Pretty sure I haven't heard it since 1991.
