Thank you so much! my teacher doesnt really teach.. when we ask she explains it in the same way she did and she went through this in 2 hours and didnt include some things like spins or orbitals... This saved my topic test!

So n=1 produces lines for ultra violet and you explained the other two in the video. So where do the xray , gamma rays, microwaves and radio waves form?

I thought that the orbitals are 1s2s2p3s3p4s then 3d, isn't the 3d the one with the highest energy?

Yes you are correct but with transition metals they lose the 4s first for their ions. Plus the order doesn’t really matter if you write it as 3d4s or 4s3d

Mainly for Cambridge however I would imagine 80% would still be relevant. There isn't a great deal of difference between the different boards.

No it increases. More protons so greater nuclear charge, more energy need to remove an electron.
