I love this video. I have only found you recently, and I love this cooking style video. You have inspired me to make more artisan bread and do more baking. I also love the clothes you wear and the atmosphere you provide. Thank you.

Kayla, I've been binge watching your series, have purchased both of of your books which I absolutely love, and have now watched your new attempt at narrating your video. Everything you do is done with such an eye for detail, accuracy and beauty. You are so incredibly talented and gifted and I thought today's video was equally wonderful as well. It's so helpful when you're honest about a disappointing outcome(floral butter) because it gives us room to make mistakes without falling into a puddle. Thank you for your dedication to your passion and craft and for giving us such inspiration. Stay well.

I really love this style of video. You have a beautiful, calm and genuine persona which is even more evident when you speak. Please do more videos like these and please tell me where you get your gorgeous clothes? Do you make them or get them made locally? I just love them and I adore your videos. They have helped me to relax at night when I struggle with pericarditis pain. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Freeze dried fruit pulverized into a chunky powder makes a good compound butter.

@@underatinroof freeze dried sounds good, but my thought, especially as you are taking things you have at home, would be to maybe slow roast the raspberries on low heat in your oven. it might make the fruit a little more chewy, but the moisture would dissipate, the flavor would intensify & if they were still large, you could chop them a bit. as for the rose petals being a little floral tasting, sweet peas are mild and so, so pretty. since the compound butter tasted better with a pinch of salt, nasturtium adds a spicy bite that would take this compound butter in another direction. I admire your skill in this video. you are presenting beautifully and your enthusiasm is inspiring.

I did! I’m terribly inconsistent and get crippled with anxiety by trying to consistently show up. I wish that I could do it! But we are planning to create a paid video series that accompanies our digital magazines that come out each season as well as more ebooks this year as a way to support us! 💕

I prefer the old style videos, I skipped this, sorry :) Just my point of view :) But is good for you that you want to change, a lot of people are gonna love it for sure! I do prefer old style videos (actually loved them) because I'm tired of talks, of words. Tired of too many people talking (often about nothing) everywhere... on social media, but in real life too. So when it comes to watch some videos, I often choose the non talkative ones. I need silence, quiet, slowness, peace. Just one point of view of course :)
