Edinson Cavani, born 14 February 1987 in Salto (Uruguay).
213 games and 112 goals in Serie A, playing with Palermo and Napoli. From 2007 to 2013 he played 7 Serie A sesons, winning 1 Coppa Italia (in 2012 with Napoli). As individual honours he collected 1 Serie A Topscorer, 1 Coppa Italia Topscorer and 2 Serie A Team of the Year. He will be remembered as the greatest uruguayan player ever in Italy and the 2nd best in Napoli's history after Diego Armando Maradona.
On 16 July 2013, Cavani joined French side Paris Saint-Germain on a 5-year contract, on a fee believed to be around €64 million. This is the 5th largest transfer in history. The reported sum made Cavani the record signing in French football, breaking Radamel Falcao's €60m move to Monaco earlier in the summer, and saw him link up with former Napoli teammate Ezequiel Lavezzi in Paris.
With Uruguay he scored 17 goals in 54 international games, winning a Copa América (2011) and placing 4th in 2010 FIFA World Cup and 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.
