Hi! I like your video a lot, trying to make the best of the pictures taken with my freshly converted Fuji X-E2 (720nm conversion)… Actually you can transfer the channel mixer from Lum 3 to 4, utilizing a look.... to dos are to be found here easily. Furthermore you can (at least I can, because my raws are detected correctly) apply an infrared profile in the lights-tab for an easier way to set the correct white balace. Hopefully by working together in this community we will soon be able to create these beautiful IR images with white foliage and dark blue skies that I like so much, using Luminar.... best regards, Stephan

If Luminar is successfully able to read your Fuji X-E2 RAF files, then maybe the issue is not with RAF files in general, but limited to the RAF files produced by my X-T20. That would mean it negatively impacts fewer camera models.

Interestingly with my X-T20 there are some RAF-problems as well, even colored raws...! Maybe Skylum could help/ correct/ improve the issues....

@@stephanpaier9887 I thought the issue was specific to Infrared RAF files, which did seem odd. But if Luminar is not able to detect any RAF file from an X-T20, that makes the issue more impactful. I've added this to the original bug report I submitted to Skylum.

@Rob Shea Photography Do you think, that Luminar does „realize“ the file is an infrared shot? From the high amount of infrared content it could be possible, but I think, a raw is a raw... if you want to, I can share one or more of my X-E2 raws with you for testing .... greets S

@@stephanpaier9887 Since I didn't have any non-infrared shots with the X-T20 and I found it hard to believe that they would have missed supporting the raws for such a popular camera, I was left with the conclusion that this was somehow related to the image being infrared. Yes, that didn't make much sense, but I didn't have another way to confirm. If you have X-T20 images that are not being properly read as raw files by Luminar, then I suggest submitting a bug. They are more likely to prioritize a fix with multiple reports.

Rob, do you think you could put a tutorial together with the latest Luminar NEO 1.3.1 for IR photography? It would be very to see if Luminar has now the option for IR editing

I'm planning to do that. 😀

Hi there! I can't get the same result, because my IR RAW is full red and nothing change in color. I Don't understand why.

Be sure you are using a raw or dng image, not a jpg. This will help to set the white balance. What camera are you using? Is it converted? Which filters are you using?

@@robshea I use Lumix G9 + Leica 8-18mm + HOYA IR R72. RAW only and white balance to coldest. But, since I have found DNG Profile Editor that's better :-) at last. What can I improve?

If you are shooting in raw, then the white balance settings in camera don't matter as much, since you have completed control to change the white balance in your raw editor. It's hard to know what you are seeing. Feel free to send me the file or screenshots. There is a link in the description for sending files.
