The trumpet and tuba playing the Mario theme was the most impressive to me. Both are brass instruments and both play their notes at exactly the same time with no rhythmic differences, so it's impressive that the software still identified which was playing which notes.

Great, this is still early so in time it won't sound like a 1900 vinyl record.

Does the model need to know in advance how many instruments in the audio? If not, did you use Bayesian nonparametric, for the model to determine how many instruments?

Impressive, but agree that some narration would be helpful for more in depth explanation. However, which song is the girl on violin playing at 00:08?!? I recognize it so well and it drives me nuts that I cant name it...

EVEN THEN, clip editors who give the audio content a very low level, and then the background random beat music super loud, will still make us run for the volume control. :(

I think some added narration would be very helpful, to attain a wider audience. May be a brief introductory description in audio what the main idea is

Just let it watch youtube for a month and it can split up a major orchestra, correct their mistakes and reassemble it as a rick roll.

Cool technology, but there’s a lot of work to do to make it useable.
