Hey. You have a skill that only a few people have in the world. The ability to teach. Most videos that claim to be tutorials are really just showing what they do and not teaching how something is done. There is a massive difference! Thanks for being awesome and posting the correct content.🥳

Do you film in 4K then edit your project in 1080? I am assuming yes because you would see a lot of pixels so zoomed in with some of the key framing you did? I think this is a great idea to film in higher resolution than the edit as it gives you more leverage to add in additional movement to the clips in the edit without reducing quality of image.

I personally shoot and edit in 4K. On my Sony a6400 I use 4K 30fps, on iPhone 4K 60fps and for the drone shoots 4K 30fps. And if you set your project to 24fps you gain a slight 80% slow motion.

Steve, I've just found your channel and I have to say that I was feeling a bit lost until today. I've been wanting to make more of my video clips and had started to self learn editing but recognised I needed to gather more footage to compile a workable story. Some of the tips show I'm on the right track, but I can now see how to get to the next level. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, I'll be re-watching your videos until I'm confident I know how to put a decent video together, and of course, I've subscribed. Cheers!!

Ripper video mate! I love epidemic sound. I look for a good song with vocals and download the instrumental stem as well. I think it makes for good transitions on my videos between scenes with some b-roll. I really enjoy seeing what you’re doing in FCPX I always learn something from these videos mate. Keep it up!

Thanks again for these great videos. These type of tutorials you do are awesome and I have learned so much from them. 1 question, at the bottom you seem to have 2 music layers. One is green and the other is blue. The green one is obviously the music and you can see the sound waves and the blue doesn't have much. What is the blue one and what affect did it add? Just curious and trying to absorb everything. Thanks
