God Dawn did you do an awful lot of work since 2017 with planning. I'm impressed damn good job..... who's the engineer? Blood. Sweat. And tears. And only God knows what else... and now you have means to put a pole barn around her. Wonderful wonderful wonderful you can't help 2 appreciate what you've done accomplished... It just goes to show. Man can do anything they put their minds to. Like moving mountains. Dig canals. Land on the Moon so on and so forth,....

I’ve enjoyed watching your millwork. My first job was on a sawmill similar to yours. It was a production company that is no longer in business we sawed five buys railroad ties and special order lumber. I beard when I started. Work was hard but I have to say I did enjoy it. Small mill operations has almost died here and West Virginia. So keep up the good work I’ll keep watching I enjoy it immensely. Yep and Eddie is a very hard worker.

The saw cut straight 2:40/2:50 but the rim is a bit loose/snarky after 4 years I am sure you have given some attention to the saw(s). I notice ya'll made the common mistake of putting your guide rail under the board side of the carriage verse the back side of the carriage. As far as some of the comments on the "Head Sawyer" abilities I will be looking for a few more recent videos to asses how much the technique has improved. Nice video ,, I enjoyed it a lot. Just for the record our family mill ran with the guide rail to blade side from 1956 to 1987, Always had saw dust/chips to tend to but it worked fine.

Nice mill but you need a shed as quick as you can. The mill down the road just got a 6-71 instead of the 4 built in 50 or 52. It'll get an inframe and put back. I had a pal that was a top notch sawyer. Started a new job and seems like the rig had a shot gun carriage and he threw it off the track 1st thing. The crew horse laughed him till they got it back runnable. That was their last laugh. And you cannot beat a 6-71 pulling a mill.

I’m really enjoying your videos. Never saw a saw with teeth that large. My grandfather lived with us growing up. He lost his leg due to diabetes so couldn’t build houses anymore. He had a lawn mower/saw sharpening business in our garage and when he could no longer make it to the garage, he sharpened saws in the house. I’ve seen al sorts of saws but none quite this large.
