What a crazy coincidence I bought both of these together last night! I’m excited to try both.

That IS a crazy coincidence! Hard to dislike these if you enjoy classics.

Looking at your Sung Homme i believe niether are vintage. Even though they have built in spray and are purple. One said usa the othe when you showed the bottom said EA . Thats Elizabeth Arden. They may be more "mid range?" Not as good as vintage but maybe better than the super new ones. I saw this video before and have learned even more. Basically if you want the best vintage with more oakmoss look for Riviera Concepts made in Canada. Those haven't been made in over ten years. And are widley known as the best version. I just picked up 2 more of them at the old fragrance store by my house for $9 each. They had a tester of a new one and it was a lot different but then i saw that the new one was and aftershave. Keep these videos coming

I think these Sung Homme's are probably from the past 10-15 years or so. They smell good, I don't really need the 80's-90's ones unless I stumble upon them for cheap. I'll keep making these videos as long as I'm still into it.

ODLR Pour Lui is a very nice fragrance. I have the "Made in France" version.

I just picked up Pour Lui, it smells good. I started layering it over Sung Homme. Makes a great soapy combo.

I was introduced to Alfred Sung Homme in the late 80's when I became interested in cologne. It became my immediate favorite in a cologne world dominated by Polo Green and Drakkar Noir. You are correct. It is the soapiest, freshest cologne I own. I do believe it was reformulated though as I've heard people describe a difference in color as some being blue and others being more lavender colored. I believe this is true as I smelled a tester at a Sephora a few month ago. It certainly smelled very similar but there was something rather off putting about it that I can't really describe. I still have half of an old bottle and it still smells (to me) like it did in the 80's.

I mentioned the purple vs. blue juice in the vid. There are some more modern-smelling fresh soapy fragrances I also like such as Mugler Cologne or Prada Amber Homme. Sung does have a darker, vintage twist to the soapy-ness that may not be for the younger guys out there. I'll keep looking for an old bottle.

I seriously doubt Sephora has a tester of a $10 fragrance.

Just watched this and thought I’d comment, thinking the video was probably made years ago! 🤣 so checked and you uploaded 4hrs ago! I just blind bought the Pour Lui, hoping it’ll be similar to Antaeus. It’s not arrived yet. What are your 1st impressions on performance?

Glad you found this video! Pour Lui is really just Antaeus lite. It's similar, but the quality and performance isn't as good as Chanel. For $20, it does the job, and you could always overspray if you feel the need to.

They alsi have modern sung with built-in sprayer. Built-in sprayer with purple juice would be older
