Thank you so much for taking the time out of your work day to go step by step through the CRJ cockpit. I'm just learning the aircraft and systems and truly enjoying it. Wish there were more videos like this of other aircraft out there.

Do you know where I can get some wiring diagrams for the warning switches on the glare shield, I am retrofitting original switches into a simulator and struggling with getting them to work. I know they require 18 V. I’m able to get the title is working, but trying to get the LEDs to light.

I’m not a pilot for EDV but am curious, you say PM. Does that mean if the first officer is flying the first leg, the captain does the tests and if the captain is flying first leg, the first officer does those tests?

@@lorendjones I like that way of doing it. We had captain and first officer flows for first flight checks. PM PF makes that transition to the left seat easier for sure.

At 3:43 you say to check that 'no hyd sov' messages are posted and that they are green. I don't see them. Please set me straight.

We want to make sure the hydraulic shut off valves (SOVs) are open so that the hydraulic FFOD test can proceed. If a HYD SOV was closed, a "HYD 1(2) SOV CLOSED" Advisory message (green text) would be posted on ED2. In the video, no such advisory messages are posted on ED2, therefore the test may proceed.
