So adorable whatta cutie pie Edward G. Robinson. I also adore the vintage coffee commercial he did in 1960...also on KZitem. All these are diamonds❤️

He also played himself in "Batman". Halfway up a building, Adam West stops to chat with him about some fine art Robinson was collecting.

Clever & fun. Most people seeing this film today, whatever it is---I don't recognize it---wouldn't know that was Robinson, as they'd have no familiarity with him. Just shows how even the greatest movie-stars of an era will be forgotten in time. Sad, of course, to their many fans but inevitable, the fans themselves leaving this old globe in greater & greater numbers with every passing year.

I heard Edward G. Robinson's voice was the inspiration for Chief Wiggum on The Simpsons (or actually Mel Blanc doing his impression of EGR according to Hank Azaria). Listening to him I can definitely hear where the Wiggum inspiration came from.
