In honor of our 15th anniversary, we're looking back at memorable moments from past expeditions. In this video from our 2014 NA052 expedition to the Anegada Passage & the British Virgin Islands' Seamounts, you'll watch a moray eel swim through a coral-covered rocky outcrop. Look closely, and you can spot basket stars, hydrocorals, and even possibly stony corals filtering food from currents in the passage from the Caribbean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. These eels are known as a "cosmopolitan species" due to their vast global range.
