Hi! :) I've just finished spending 1 month at Rolling Korea and I had to come back to comment on this video. One night while discussing Rolling Korea, a group of 6 of us discovered that we had all watched this very video and this video is the reason why we all decided to go to Rolling Korea! This video is truly helpful and it convinced me to choose Rolling Korea and so many other people who I now call friends. Thank you for sharing this video and for all the helpful information ❤

@nadinelow2091

@@florinecyrus8466 Hi 😃I'd say it depends on whether you use the accommodation provided by Rolling Korea or if you find your own. I found my own accommodation, so just for Rolling Korea I paid 1448000 won (this includes registration fees, course books & activity credits). I highly suggest going to the Rolling Korea website and at the top of the page you can get a consultation. You will input how long you want to attend the school, whether you need accommodation etc. Then they will email you back with a quote detailing all the costs involved. Hope this helps ! ☺

Hi! First I wanna say that I love your video! I am a student at RK now and I can not agree with you more! It’s amazing here. Everyone is so nice and sweet and ready to help with literally everything ❤I’m doing the K-pop course too and I love it :) (the timetable for that one is a little bit different now tho). And I am also staying in one of their accommodations (a mini-studio for me). It is really mini but compact and I am not complaining because it’s the one that is free (fully included in the course price) 😌👌🏻 Well anyways that’s my short story of my only just beginning adventure here. Thank you for sharing yours 🫶🏻 I think it’s really helpful for people who are thinking about going to Korea so they can have good expectations and make good decisions. Also love your vibe. Just wanted to put that out there :) Disclaimer: even though I said I couldn’t agree more, that was just about the RK part. I have no personal experience with EF. I have looked into them before I found RK, but based on personal interest and having read and heard some things I absolutely don’t regret my decision of choosing RK over EF. Ps. Sorry for the long comment even though I’m making it longer by saying this 🫠 just letting people out there know: I acknowledge it, but you are the one reading this long ass comment. So don’t be coming at me :)

@oneofthesapiens

yea there is a bunch of stuff to do outside of RK as for concerts can always search whos playing a show nearby, the Dongdaemun Design Plaza usually has cool exhibits too, these are some of the many options, and to my knowledge the only thing i know has an age restriction is bars and clubs.

First of all thank you this video helped me a lot to get more information and now I have some questions. I'm going to Korea for about 6 months starting from this summer. First of all what is the age range between the students or what is the average age like and in the residency you stayed in? I'm gonna be 19 by the time I get there but I'm worried that most people will be a lot older than I am. I think I will go to Rolling Korea and I've also been wondering if I will have any problems with keeping up in class because I have zero Korean skills. My last question would be which of the two locations you liked more?
@oneofthesapiens
Жыл бұрын
Hi! The students ranged from late teens 17~ to late 30s. I stayed in an Airbnb so im not sure how old the people there were. Honestly i was also worried but i ended up clicking with girls in their early 20s (im 19) and we never felt the age difference it think its just about they type of people that you vibe with! +Edit When you get there they will test you and place you in the class best suited to you, at first I did struggle a bit to keep up because we build on previous knowledge and I got there about 2 weeks into the new books but I got the hang of it after some time, if you ever need help you can always ask the teacher they are always glad to assist! And I preferred Rolling Korea 100%

Hi, I had some questions about your experience with EF and RK (I hope to go to one or both soon in the future) . How did airport transportation work? Did someone greet you when you go off the plane in Korea? . Are you able to choose a timeframe for your stay? Do they tell you what's going on in the school at the time so you don't schedule a time right during exams? How do you know your timing is right to where they're at the introductory/beginning classes? Or, is that even a thing to begin with? . For RK, were home stays an option for residency?
@oneofthesapiens
Жыл бұрын
Hi, [airport transfer] With EF I was in contact with someone for the airport pick up so I knew where to go but for the hotel pick up to go back to the airport I got nothing so when I saw a taxi I just went outside and asked who they were picking up And for RK they told me which exit to go to and I had a scheduled pick up time about an hour after landing and when I was picked up from my Airbnb the front desk called me to let me know that the driver was outside. [Time Frame] For both you can choose when you want to go EF has weekly testing so I don’t think that matters too much RK tests usually land at the end of the month. They don’t outright tell you what’s going on but I’m sure they’ll inform you if you ask For both, you are tested when you arrive and that will determine which class you will be put in. [Residence] RK does offer a hotel and many student do reside there. It’s in the same area and I believe it’s about a 15-20 minute walk from the school I hope this info helps!
