When you consider that an average freight engine serves some 50 years,and then,if sold off,can deliver another 50 years,the railroads get a good bargain! The EF65's and 66's,must be in the million plus mileage category,and probably wore out a set or two of traction motors! They have definitely earned any accolades,they have gotten! Thank you for your comment. It's said that mileage of EF65 and EF66 are 108 laps of the earth. So, their aging is severe. They will retire in the near future.

I just did a rough calculation,if true,those engines are actually in the 2 million plus mileage class! (25000×108=2700000)so if this correct,man,those engines are real troupers!! Thanks again for your time and effort 👌 💪!! Thank you 😇!
