Egg Chilli is a gravy based Egg recipe, where Eggs are soaked in spicy sauce with aroma like Coriander & Mint. It is best served with Neer Dosa, Ghee Rice or a steaming Hot Rice.
Ingredients
For Masala:
Dry roasted Red Chilli - 5 nos
Dry roasted Coriander Seeds - 1 tablespoon
Dry roasted Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Dry roasted Fenugreek - 1/4 teaspoon
Lightly sweat Onion - 1/2
Lightly sweat Garlic - 3
Lightly sweat Tomato - 1
Lightly sweat Green Chilli - 3
Lightly sweat Coriander root & Stem - 4 to 5
Lightly sweat Mint - handful
Tamarind - marble sized
Tumeric Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Oil -1 teaspoon ( to sweat Onion, Garlic, Tomato, etc)
Water - 1 cup (to grind)
For Curry:
Oil - 2 tablespoon
Onion - 1/2
Ground Masala
Water - 1/2 cup
Salt - 1 teaspoon (as per taste)
Hard Boiled Eggs - 6
Coriander leaves - handful
