Baking strips are important to keep our cakes flat when baking. You can purchase it at baking stores or make a DIY of it by using a thick cloth that can retain water. Measure the cloth so the length should cover the circumference of the pan. Wet and saturate the cloth with water, place around the pan and pin together with an all metal pin. (No plastic heads of the pin, we don't want to start a fire. ) Bake your cakes along with the strips. It will give you moist and even layers each time.
