INGREDIENTS:-
DRY INGREDIENTS-
All Purpose Flour (Maida)- 120 gms
Cocoa Powder - 30 gms
Baking Powder- 1 tsp
Baking Soda- 1/2 tsp
Milk Powder- 2 tbs (optional)
WET INGREDIENTS-
Milk - 1/2 cup
Powdered Sugar- 1/2 cup
Curd - 1/4 cup
Oil - 1/4 cup
METHOD :-
👉🏻Take Oil, Powdered Sugar , Curd & 6 tbs Milk in a bowl & mix them until sugar dissolves.
👉🏻Place a stir pot (भगोना) or kadhahi & spread salt & place a rack in it and preheat .
👉🏻Now take a strainer & sieve Maida, Cocoa Powder, Baking Powder, Baking Soda into Wet ingredients .
👉🏻Combine all the ingredients with spatula
Add some milk if the batter is thick .
👉🏻The Cake Batter should be in Ribbon Consistency.
👉🏻Now take a lined 6’ inches cake tin & pour the cake batter into it & tap a little to remove air bubbles.
👉🏻 Place the cake tin in preheated stir pot or kadhahi & bake it for 35 minutes on low flame .
👉🏻After 35 minutes take a tooth pick or knife & insert into cake if it came out clean your cake sponge is ready .
👉🏻Enjoy your Chocolate Sponge cake as it is or decorate it with cream or make it any flavour cake of your choice .
NOTE - Use Hand blender or Whisk to combine all the ingredients .
