I've got to tell you, this is one of the funniest segments I have ever heard from Garrison. Wonderful, wonderful! I didn't send frogs into the midst of a church meeting, my friends and I would whistle during worship, or go down to the bathroom to smoke (Got caught on that one). Once at a Presbyterian VBS we were ordered to go to the choir loft to get hymnals which we did but, instead of carrying the down the stairs to the basement, we cut out the middleman and flung them over the side of the balcony to the floor below...almost hitting the pastor who had come in to find out what the laughing was all about. This one was good Garrison, it was very good.

Garrison has a way of finding humor in even seemingly mundane things and making it compelling. That's what makes him so great. Thanks as always, my friend. Keep up the good work. 🙂

Tonight I listen to this and feel doubly blessed. We got Classic Garrison Keillor And the wonderful song after his soliloquy.

GK underrated. He is a genius storyteller and philosopher. An American treasure who should be celebrated like Mark Twain.

He is a great questioning theologian. He could have his own Megachurch.

Started listening much to late. Only a few years before he ended the broadcast.
