Hi, did you ever get a resolution? My new Z6 is doing the same thing minus the beeps. It just stops dead in its tracks and flashes an over current warning on the battery position indicator. I have to swap the batteries to get it moving again.

I never got an overcurrent warning. The battery box is the culprit for me. I'm trying to get ego to just send me the part but they are adamant that no one works on these(warranty void). They would prefer you to ship/trailer it hours away and risk damaging the machine. Hypothetically, if you were to follow the pairs of wires on the battery box the six orange and black wires all lead into the circuit board and they lead into pairs. The bad pair of battery slots are related(top left and middle left). Even without doing that, which you definitely should not do(warranty void), the six batteries lead into the circuit board on the battery box(in pairs) and then one set of power cables leads into the terminal/fuse block under the seat from that circuit board box on the battery box. Which would point to any battery utilization issues are related to the battery box being the problem as it is what distributes the available power to the mower. I'll update on how ego responds in another video hopefully soon

Thanks for the reply. I originally started with a charging issue (all three red LEDs lit up) so I was trying to flatten the batteries to investigate (EGO had already replaced the charger). Mower was in high speed with blades in turbo mode. As it was only drawing from 2 batteries it gives an overcurrent alarm as it can't supply enough juice. The mower just locks up and stops (scares the hell out of you the first time). I'm in Australia, EGO are supposedly going to send a Tech out to my home to investigate, hopefully that's the case and I won't have to transport it.
