On my way to visit my mom in Quartzsite, Arizona this morning, I stopped to explore the Ehrenberg, Arizona Historic Pioneer Cemetery.
Most of the gravesites in this desert graveyard are unmarked or unknown. The first gravesite appeared here in 1862. The last burial was on April 22, 1988.
The town and cemetery are named after Herman Ehrenberg, a German mining engineer who mapped the town which was once called Mineral City.
Thanks for joining me on another trip to the past down memory lane.
