One of my favorite reoccurring tropes and Adam Sandler films is that he's a loser but he can't be too much of a loser. That's why the best friend supposed to be the complete loser that has nothing going for him.

After watching Uncut Gems, i've decided that Sandler is an entirely competent actor, he just shouldn't be involved in writing them. Watch Uncut Gems when you get the chance, his character is a perfect mix of hints of stereotypical comedic delivery working in tandem with an intense thriller circumstance. I mean its nothing groundbreaking but he certainly performs his role competently.

I LOVED bedtime stories when I was a kid. I thought it was pretty damn funny. I wouldn’t watch it every day, but it’s very creative and amazing for what it is 😂

Mr. Madison, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
23:05 I guess Adam saw Mike Myers playing multiple characters in the Austin Powers trilogy, and thought he could do it too.

Click is by far my most favorite Adam Sandler Movies, it made me cry rivers as a kid, but it also taught me a valuable lesson as a kid to respect what little time I do have, and to not take the time that I have with my family for granted, because it could all be over before I know it. Admittedly it's a bit cheesy, but TBH for a kid like myself, I still take those lessons to heart, after-all I love, and respect my parents especially my father who raised me as a kid, and I try my best to show them not only in words, but most of all in my actions. And I learned all this from the same guy who made Billy Madison, man what a confusing world we live in. Haha.

Fun fact, Click has simaler story beats of a goosebumps story of the same name. I originally wanted to say baised on, but I'm reading an old forum discussion on the same name and they're arguing about the implacation of it being a common story type. The name and the fact it revolves around a universal romote are 1 for 1 so i disagree with the forum.

24:05 your review of Eight Crazy Nights is the definitive review everyone should watch. And not Nostalgic Crtic's review where he spends nearly half an hour just complaining about Whitey's voice lmao

From most reports I've heard, Sandler is a really nice guy. Plus there's something strangely admirable about him propping up the careers of about a dozen actors across his filmography. When Nostalgia Critic (I know, I know) reviewed Eight Crazy Nights, he was contacted by the director. The director acknowledged the film's flaws but said he had such a great experience working with Adam and his friends that he can't help but look past the shit eating reindeer and jokes about a man accidentally wiping his ass with a hook hand.
