Now I have to unlearn a lot of stuff. This looks so smooth and fast. Just 2 steps from the Center back and forth. Was doing 3 🤦🏻♂️ - learnt wrong or was taught wrong. This one seems seems right.

i have a question about another step called the recovery step. i seen some videos explaining about it and how it affects the movement rhythm. but is it applicable in men's doubles since most of the time its very fast? could you explain on that?

Thank you for your excellent videos.. Can I ask, how are you achieving a big step in tje direction you want without bouncing your whole body. I did notice you are maintaining a constant centre of gravity when you move.

Hi Chi Tung first I would like to thank you for your question and it is such a great question. Let me give your 2 tips and I would like to make a one video to talk about this as well. Tip 1 make sure last step you land with your heel instead of toes. Tip 2 make sure weight need to go down after you land it, most people lose balance or do hop because their weight stand to high when they land. Imagine this for speed skater they need to keep weight lower so wont lose the balance same as badminton to keep balance in the speed then you need to keep weight lower. Good question

The Chasse step and lunge step is pretty similar. When to use which?
@ALLiaoBadmintonCoaching

Chasse step is the step that before the lunge, and lunge step is always the last step you land and hit the shuttle. So it could be like ... Chasse + lunge ( landing step )

all these 8 are very important , unfortunately many people just ignore the initial and the follow up steps, these are the momentum , power generation and rhythm of footwork .
