Matt Goldstein, DHSc, PA-C, NRP is a physician assistant with over 20 years of experience in cardiology and emergency medicine. Matt volunteers as a paramedic in Baltimore and coordinates a Maryland State wide public access AED program. His American Heart Association Training Center, Startbeat, LLC has trained thousands in CPR, first-aid, use of the AED, ACLS and PALS. Matt has been an invited lecturer at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as other national groups. He has authored a book Topics in Electrophysiology, Heart Rhythms and 12 Lead ECG sold on amazon as well as authoring several articles on cardiovascular topics in peer reviewed journals and has presented his research at international scientific sessions of the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Cardiology.
