El Rastro de Fuengirola is possibly the Rastro par excellence of the Costa del Sol, an attractive mix of used objects of all kinds, of all value and of all price that was born in 1994 from the initiative of foreign residents in love with European flea markets. It is also one of the largest flea markets in all of Spain with over 350 booths.
The Rastro de Fuengirola sets up twice a week, though it is the Saturday opening that displays the most second hand goods, vintage items and the odd antique. This flea market tends to be a little busier on Saturdays too
The range of goods for sale at the Rastro de Fuengirola is quite extraordinary. There are vinyl collections, plants, vintage and second hand books, antique mirrors, paintings, table ornaments, china ware, lamps, vintage clothing, old cameras, retro toys, enameled badges, jugs, ceramic, crockery, stuffed animals, army helmets, local arts & crafts and much more. There is plenty on display from the local area, but some vendors also come from North Africa to show off their more exotic wares. The Rastro de Fuengirola absolutely has it all, and a little more besides.
Vendors at the Rastro de Fuengirola are full of knowledge and information about the goods they have for sale. Most vendors only accept cash, so take more than you plan to spend and enjoy the day.
It will definitely take a whole day to make your way around the hundreds of vendors at the Rastro de Fuengirola.
