Ela Ada is a famous Breakfast or Snack in Kerala. Its very healthy, sweet and tasty.. Here are the ingredients
Fine Rice Flour - 1 1/2 Cup
Hot Water - 3 Cups
Salt
Grated fresh coconut - 2 Cups
Jaggery (Powdered) - 3/4 Cup to 1 Cup
Cumin ( Crushed ) - 1 Tsp
Banana Leaves
Mix and Knead Rice flour with salted hot water. For filling mix coconut with Jaggery and cumin . Wet your hands then spread a big lemon size dough to Banana leaf, then fold and steam cook for 15 -20 minutes.. easy tasty Ela Ada ready... Enjoy this traditional dish..
