While I work on more analysis videos, here's the next installment in my #eldenring attempt to defeat all 165 bosses without taking damage. I'm excited because I've now completed all the Limgrave field bosses available at this time. I need to do the ulcerated tree spirit and bell bearing hunter, but those will come later. This means I can officially move onto Godrick next!
For Agheel, I decided to push myself a bit and not use any horseback attacks. I used the horse only to evade the fire. Agheel is best dealt with by getting headshots for staggering. The camera for large enemies can be a bit of a nuissance, but it's not too bad.
The Deathbird gave me a lot more trouble than I anticipated. Lots of big, delayed attacks take some time to learn. I found that you need to keep some distance and wait for attacks, because it can do these ill-telegraphed scream attacks that deal death blight damage, and in close range it does not appear that the fractional damage dealt by the scream can really be avoided. You will see that he knocked me over because of an AOE attack, but I did not take any damage from it.
Patches is ... Patches. Nothing special. If you're not using a blocking shield, which I am not for this run (parrying shields only), the safest way to not take damage is to bait the spear attacks from a bit of a distance and go in for the counter-attack while he recovers.
Stay tuned for more Soulsborne analysis/commentary content coming up!
