Man, being limited to 10 sucks. So many amazing ones left out! Placidusax still has both his storm-dash combo, as well as his incredible dual-beam attack. The Fire Giant has a whole bunch. Malekith has at least two. Malenia also has her phantom-dash-combo attack. Mohg has several, but his NIHIL attack deserves special mention. Morgott has his rain of golden swords, and Lannseax has her lightning glaive attack. And, of course, Godfrey also has his "turn the arena into a golden volcano with his bare hands" attack.

My personal favorite attacks and moves: 1. Malenia's grab. I know it's annoying, but who else just fucking throws you in the air, impales you on their sword, and then FLINGS your body off their weapon? It's bad ass as hell. 2. Fire Giant's phase 2 intro attack where he leans back so far the back of his head almost touches the ground and the FORCE of the explosions coming from the mouth of the Fell God literally cause him to practically CONVULSE. Like... there's just so much power and force conveyed by his movements, it shows the pure energy behind what he's doing. It's jaw dropping and I love it so much. 3. Maliketh's flips. They're just so COOL. The man goes from using rocks and the ground to just deciding gravity doesn't affect him and FLYING from pillar to pillar. 4. Mohg. MOHG. Obviously the Nihil needs no explanation. But so many of his attacks I LOVE visually. How his hand literally DISAPPEARS when he reaches into the portal, to show he's quite literally reaching INTO THE FORMLESS MOTHER to pull blood. How, in phase two, every swing of the trident throws bloodflame. How he suddenly gains wings and then USES THEM to DIVE BOMB YOU. His fight is a spectacle and I adore it. 5. Radagon's grab attack. The man grabs you by the throat and bashes your head in with a hammer. That's got my fuckin respect right there. 6. Morgott's cartwheels are just fun 7. Morgott using his bloodflame. I love the detail of him running his hand across his blade to turn it red, how it physically shows he is slicing his fingers open to manually spread his blood over the blade. That detail is just so GOOD. 8. When Hoarah Loux goes for a kick and the man straight up just brings his knee to his own face. It's the most street fighter / mortal kombat bullshit I've ever seen and I LOVE it. This man is HUGE and yet somehow the standard limitations of anatomy hold no effect. Flexibility is a given. That man could do splits so far the only thing touching the ground would be his grundle. It's so fucking stupid and it's my favorite thing ever. 9. The grafted scion's moves!!! The kid uses his original arm to almost direct his attacks - if it thrusts its swords forward, it does so as the kid thrusts his original arm forward. I even noticed something I've never seen anyone mention - the scion actually moves two of its grafted limbs like LEGS. When it stands up on its hind limbs and does that sort of pose before thrusting forward, if you look carefully, you can see the actual kid has two forward limbs positioned like legs, and it makes it look like he's leaning sideways. It gives an air of uncanny valley because rather than this simply being the creature, it gives you a sense that this child is not controlling its own body as naturally as, say, the revenants move. The scion is still using its limp, original arm to telegraph its sword arms, and keeps trying to use two limbs like human legs. It gives you the sense that this is NOT natural, this creature is MADE and WRONG. I also love the scream the scions make, because it looks INVOLUNTARY. The scions LITERALLY back away from you and curl up, using THEIR ORIGINAL ARM TO COVER THEIR MOUTH before the scream seems to force itself out of them, forcing their arm away as they bellow. And then they COVER THEIR MOUTHS AGAIN. The whole moveset is based around a being trying to pilot a body that they still aren't used to, that they still can't fully control. It's FASCINATING. 10. Related to that, the movements of the Royal Revenants. Don't get me wrong - revenants are the worst enemy of the entire game and I hate them with my entire being. But they literally move like a horror movie ghost - that is to say, they JUMP. It's almost impossible to notice when fighting them, but if you watch a video showing their walk cycle, you'll notice that they actually jerk around in a way that almost looks like a GLITCH. Like the effect in movies where they cut out the movement in between, so a ghost's head just looks like it's rapidly spinning and thrashing but like it simply faces you, then faces away, with no in-between movement. The revenants movements are ALL literally IMPOSSIBLE. They just....snap around, jerk around in a way that feels like a video game moreso than anything else. And what's more disturbing is that, when fighting them? You only notice if you're LOOKING for it. It's obviously on purpose, it's deliberate and well crafted. But its something you feel should be obvious, and the worst part of those moves is knowing you didn't fucking notice. That you just...don't see that it's GLITCHING AT YOU INSTEAD OF MOVING. I also love the weird way they move their limbs to walk - much more obviously natural than the scions, and very fascinating.

Godfrey/Hoarah Loux’s entire moveset would never fail to get me at the edge of my seat, especially during the 2nd Subphase where arena-wide stomp shockwaves are involved. Seeing just how powerful a tower of a man who isn’t even a demigod or a god and that he can cause seismic waves and rip apart the ground below him with his strength alone is just extremely thrilling. Another mention would be Maliketh’s Destined Death attack, when he does either the horizontal or vertical spin depending on what attack he does before and following it up with a flurry. Maliketh’s 2nd Phase is one of the most badass things I’ve ever came across in any game and I love it. My 2nd favourite Elden Ring boss behind Godfrey for a reason.

I think Godrick’s dragon fire tornado stomp into the rolling aerial axe smash is the coolest.

Awesome compilation! In case you do another one of these showcases, there are a couple I think deserve mentions even if they're not quite contenders for this top 10. While it gets overshadowed by her phase-defining attacks, Malenia's butterfly valkyrie attack as the Goddess of Rot is one that I find just utterly entrancing. Not only are the visuals amazing, but they seem to be spirits of her five daughters that you encounter through Sage Gowry - Mary, Maureen, Amy, Polyanna, & Millicent. That theme gets reinforced as their questline comes to an end en route to reach Malenia, typically with the four sisters' defeat and Millicent removing her needle and dying for the purpose of returning Malenia's free will to her rather than let the Rot Goddess twist her mother into its control. Thus, even after death, the Rot's representation of cyclical rebirth with the Lotus flower allowing the five of them to be called upon like echoes of their mother's true power, each with a slightly different technique as they all attack together. Another one is when Lichdragon Fortissax uses his sister's attack - Lansseax's Glaive. While his sister uses this attack, she does so fairly simply with the primal lightning crackling forwards from the slash, whereas Lichdragon Fortissax ascends into the sky and comes twisting down in a cascade of Primal Lightning that shows a dexterity & elegance to the combat prowess of an Ancient Dragon that's so massive and wracked by the decay of Deathblight that you can't help but wonder what he would have been like in his prime when he fought against Godwyn. This is an attack that stays in my mind rather prominently especially because of Placidusax's Ultimate Bolt, and how you see those echoed with the Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella. When it's Ice Lightning powers erupt and its four wings unfurl, it ascends to the sky like Fortissax to throw its first bolt down like a simple Lightning Bolt but one that cascades like Lansseax's, then it drops to the ground and throws the second again cascading the attack forward like Lansseax, but making it more of a double attack like Fortissax's own double Primal Lightning strike - but then finally with the last of its power, it slams the final bolt down like Placidusax detonating only immediately around itself. After that, it continues to fight and when attacking with the ice lightning bolt, it throws it from near ground with the lightning cascading forward over the ground like Lansseax's Glaive, but then when attacking with just it's ice lightning claws, it ascends into the air to do the same full-body twisting slash attack with a rapid descent that Fortissax does when using Lansseax's Glaive. While the Dragonkin Soldiers' attacks are mere echoes of the Ancient Dragons' true power forged under a false night sky, that fight set me up to recognize those techniques when fighting Lansseax, Fortissax, & Placidusax later on in the game, and made the true versions of those techniques really stand out. Thanks as always for these videos showcasing such cool moments so beautifully!

Except for Radahn, this looks like a compilation of how great heroes of the past died fighting great evils. Radahn was a love story 😂. Ridiculously good editing. Need a part 2 and 3 ASAP please.
