This is my third electric bike and 20th bike overall with everything ranging from the little 500 ninja to the 1800 GL Goldwing. My favorite bike by far. Absolutely love it.

The bike has two USB plugs in the glove box. You missed them. Windscreen range is 2-3/4 inches, not 1-1/2 inches. As for the range discrepancy you mentioned during the first couple of minutes, that is probably because the bike's computer is estimating remaining range based on the battery usage over the last 5-10 miles. Since you were coming down a mountain, you were probably using no battery and even adding power to the battery. You are better off figuring range based on state of charge and what kind of roads you expect to have to ride coming up. If you jump on a highway and travel at 70-80 mph, you will really eat battery and you might count on 1.5 to 2% per mile. If you are going to be riding city streets at slower speeds, you should be able to do use a bit under 1% per mile. As for using this bike as a long distance adventure bike, it can be done. See this guy's videos: www.youtube.com/@e.roundworld/videos But I have both an R1250GS and a DSR/X. I like the DSR/X more than the GS. I ride the DSR/X whenever I only am going to ride under 100 miles in a single ride. But that turns out to be a lot of the time for me.

Thanks for these clarifications! Like all motorcycles, your range is highly dependent on your speed. My DSR/X easily goes 150 miles or more riding dirt roads and back roads. Here is another link about this bike: kzitem.info/rock/EZ2AUU1f7mA_o51FIyFq-g

Appreciate the information. I have been concerned about the range of emotorcycles.

Zero is a fitting name at this time for this bike.

A lot of naysayers and climate deniers on this channel. Electric mobility is coming to all motorcycles.
