Hello again Gabe..... Thinking some more about a project like this but with more endurance. I think you mentioned somewhere about eventually moving into a sleek fiberglass glider.... Of course a lot more money but that's okay.... Do you think it is doable to get a lightweight 2 place glider to give you more useful load for more battery weight in my case... Mostly flying single. The 2nd 14 kW battery could go in a mount in the 2nd seat to stay within the CG range. This should put you somewhere in a 40:1 glide ratio. Can you think of a couple of climbers that would be a good candidate for something like this... I could be overlooking something.... Thank you!

I have been keeping up with your project.... Great job! an unfamiliar with the CG of the Xenos Or the ZERO battery/controller system.... I would guess most people would spend most of their flight time playing single.... Is It possible to construct some type of Mount for the passenger floorboard or Seat area To add another 14KW/180lb batt for extended flying time( with 0 system allow for that or build in a switch from one battery to the other etc.?) Love it!

Yes it is totally possible to add another battery in the passenger seat. This would almost double the range and duration. But I like to take passengers :)

The instrument is a variometer, a very sensitive type of rate of climb indicator used by gliders to tell if they are going up or down

@@douggraham5812 thanks. I'm familiar with the variometer, just amused at Gabe's choice of labeling.
