Surely you would check behind socket to rule out loose connection on neutral

That's what I was thinking. Working ok , then not working. Cant really be that difficult to work out 🕴🕴🕴🕴🙉🙈🙊

I've seen some stuff in my time but this takes the biscuit all over everywhere 1st test should have been r1+r2 if they're there got to be the neutral like others have said check the socket bet your bottom dollar loose connection possibly faulty socket they're going to be there a week the way they're going ☹️☹️.

Let's assume this is scenario where connections at the socket have been already checked and look good. Purpose of this video is to show methods of fault finding in case there is break in cable in a wall.

Great video on fault finding principles. So easy to forget checking correct voltage and not just check live-earth. Thank you

Five star service don't know of any other sparks that would do customers washing up. Lots of info to suggest neutral but what about when doing neutral to cpc continuity making sure switch is on at socket in case is a double pole switch not a criticism for great work

Fantastic. Demonstration of carrying out simple continuity test to find the fault . Also you need to replace the battery in your MFT as low battery power can give misleading test results. Fantastic video Marcos as always👍👍👍👍❤️

Thank you for focusing in on where probes are connected on the Megger and settings on the dial......Simple and intuitive to experienced testers, not necessarily to learners .Very helpful video.

Hi, I am a little bit confused at 2:59 you read it as greater than 999 ohms but at the college, i was told it is 99.9 k ohms. Sorry this is not about me catching or something as I am a learner i am trying to understand. Great video on fault finding.

Why didnt you take the socket off the wall to check for loose cable ? Very strange. Less talking . I wouid have checked from fuseboard to double pole switch, then double pole switch to socket.. Maybe get a proper spark to over see you 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🙉🙈🙊🥰

why don't you use multimeter instead of megger as its to understand for me as mostly new people use multimeter

Carl, it's a video demonstrating a logical appoach to fault finding and what methods may be employed in the process. We all know that experienced sparks would miss out many of these steps.....However, It's still a useful video for the less experienced..... IMO.. Cheers
