I just want to say thank you so much. Your videos have gotten me through every challenging course. I aced pre-calc and calc because of you. I am currently a college student at a relatively prestigious college (partially thanks to you) and my biology class is probably one of the hardest classes I've ever had. Every video I watched for support has left questions unanswered. However, with your videos, no stone is left unturned. Every question I have is addressed at some point and complex topics are explained in a simple but thorough way. I have never resonated with the teaching style of an educator to the extent that I resonate with yours. I doubt you will see this, as it is an older video, but I still wanted to give you my thanks. You are very talented and we all are thankful for you.

I just want to say thank you for everything. Your videos on calculus really helped me. I spent my whole vacation on your videos, made an extensive note on them that I'm never throwing away. I'll pass it to my kids and hopefully it'll help them too. I got 86% in maths thanks to you. Stay blessed Sir.

Hello, thank you very much for these videos. I have a question regarding the electronegativity of the diffrent complexes- Since comlexe IV comes after complex I and III, why don't we consider it as the one that has the most affinity to accept electrons after oxygen ? Won't that make sense ? Unless I missed one information maybe. Thank you again Houda

Hey, could you try to shed some light on Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase? The description I found reads: 'Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) plays an important role in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis [1] by reversibly catalysing the oxidation and phosphorylation of D-glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate to 1,3-diphospho-glycerate.' I get the start and end products, but when I see oxidation AND phosphorylation alongside 'reversible' I get a little mixed up. Any help would be appreciated, I'm abou to start your video. Thank you.

I have I question ,,, does the ATP synthase considered as a part of the ETC ???considerate, that It doesn't transport electron.
@koolkittykat04
3 жыл бұрын
Technically, it’s considered the enzyme for oxidative phosphorylation, which is kind of the last step of the electron transport chain.
@AhmedAli-dp9gw
3 жыл бұрын
So it's a part of the ETC ?
@nkamakimfuema5275
2 жыл бұрын
@@AhmedAli-dp9gw ATP synthase is part of chemiosmosis. When ETC and chemiosmosis work together, then it is known as oxidative phosphorylation. Since ETC oxidizes and chemiosmosis phosphorylate ADP

Hi Can I ask how many ATP molecules are produced in every ETC complex? It was actually raised by our professor, according to him, every complex in the electron transport chain produces a particular amount of ATP.. He wants us to identify the ATP molecules produced in: Complex I Complex II Complex III Complex IV. Thank you so much for those who can help☺️
@MuhammadAli-ez6dd
