In this video workshop, simulation-ready volume mesh is generated for a model consisting of a generic printed circuit board (PCB) placed inside an enclosure. The mesh generation is performed, keeping in mind the eventual goal of using this mesh to conduct a conjugate heat transfer analysis of the model. We will particularly highlight how to specify local size controls such as body of influence (BOI), curvature, and face sizing. We will also demonstrate how to add boundary layer mesh and improve the volume mesh. Access starting files for this lesson here → courses.ansys.com/index.php/c...
