FYI they probably keep sending the skin colored resin, because it apparently gives the best details. The 3D printing nerd had this mentioned in a interview a couple of videos back.

Now I just need to wait for any reports if that array problem the previous pro had also appear here or any other such a deal breaker defect. Then I'm gonna pull the trigger and get order one.

Hi! I just subscribed. To see better the UV pattern, place a white A4 paper on the screen, it will diffuse the light. The previous version shows a pattern, but the 2 Pro is uniform.

The filters over camera sensors are for INFRARED, not UV, so you made you camera better for night and low light, but did not change the UV response (which isn't that great anyways)

They're really both, or at least that one was. Can probably put it in the way of the spectrometer in the near future to show what wavelengths that particular one was if you're interested

@@wileecoyoti The UV cut is normally just the natural property of the cheap glass substrate they used vs an intentional effect. CCD and CMOS sensors are not normally affected much by UV, but IR can cause many adverse effects for regular color imaging (The datasheets I have for the Sony sensors show most of them cutting off pretty sharply below about 400nm (mainly due to the RGB Bayer filter, but the raw sensor is not much better) but having a long tail well into the infrared range; also Google for the saga of the old Nikon D2H camera- great camera for its generation, but suffered from some weird image quality issues that were eventually traced to a weak IR filter on the sensor. These issues all disappeared with the installation of an external IR cut filter on the lens as well.)

Could you extend the z height on a machine like this, hardware wise obviously could be done, but would the software work with a larger z?

I have a 13.3" 4k mono panel on order from a manufacturer, I only paid $360 for it. Couple that with a larger back light array panel, you can basically make your own "larger resin printer" based off any of the smaller budget ones on the market. I'm using the internal components from a Longer 30. The hardest part for me to source is a resin tank.
