Thank you for this helpful and well produced review! I think you have a good KZitem voice and hope your channel will grow in the future. Also: good on you talking about the tinned wires. Understanding the better longevity of crimped connections will come in handy in my studies/work.

I'm new to this whole deal of 3d printing with resin and I have questions. But I'm so glad I found this video of yours because this is exactly what I was looking for! Since I won't be buying an Elegoo printer, I was wondering if other brands printing mount would fit in the vats, but I guess I can just remove the prints first and just put them in the basket, right? I can just clean the print mount by hand with IPA. Am I correct?
@Yarkspiri
Жыл бұрын
Yes, that is correct. Just remove the print and place it in the basket, and you'll be ready to go.

One quick question, accdg to wham bam, the size of the M3’s build plate is 172x110mm. Do you think it will fit the bucket of either the two? I will have to print some clips to keep it afloat if ever it does. I was looking at these exact two models due to the Halloween sale and now the upcoming Black Friday sale. You are a blessing for making this video. Thank you for that. Cheers!

- Touching uncured prints - hammering a print off the plate my god

I could see where the confusion could come from. They were demo pieces which I used for demonstration purposes, but it is something which I should have clarified in the video. As for hammering the prints off the plate, it's pretty common depending on where you work.

The tinned terminals are mutch better as the cheap molex pins in the anycubic. looks like your are searching for reasons against the eleggo. its not a neutral video.

The tinned terminals are always something that I bring up, since it's something I would like to have changed for the reason illustrated in this guide. cdn.thomasnet.com/ccp/00142951/263810.pdf When I purchased the Elegoo Jupiter, they did address this issue, and I'm happy to see that the company took the feedback to heart.

As an electronican i can tell you that tight screwed phoenix terminal is much better as this this molex plugs like in the anycubic. Yes , you can use a crimped pin but its work for nothing because it makes no different. Not for this small current.

That sounds like a great video idea. I would love to see someone with your credentials test each of these approaches and show where their limits might be. Finding information regarding this has been quite challenging since there's a lot of contractions as you may already be aware, and properly testing these would be useful to the community as a whole. If you publish the video, please let me know because I would be interested in learning more about the subject.

@@Yarkspiri ;)) Sorry, will not make a video. Unfortunately, it makes no sense to invest time in it. The currents in these devices are so small that you don't have to worry about them. The Wash and Cure has 36W, so about 2-3 amps flow internally. on the primary side of the power supply its 0,1-0,5 amps. That's next to nothing. ;) Dont waste your time ;) Life is short.

I'm sorry to hear that I won't be able to watch this in a future video. I do appreciate the feedback, however, since it'll be useful in how I approach my videos. In the Elegoo Jupiter, they removed the tinned connections and just have the wires instead, which I found preferable. I suspect that in FDM printers, since they draw quite a bit more power, this issue might be more pronounced. I've had one of my machines short at the terminals and those were tinned, so at how many amps does this become an issue of concern? Likewise, I would also be interested in getting any additional recommendations on reading material for this subject if possible. Thanks to the spambots, I had to disable links, so I might have to get it through Facebook instead. But I am interested in learning more about the subject.

Ah, this is dissapointing. I was not at all interested in their circuits. Where is the rotation speed, the number of LEDs that each one has for curing. Specific comparations regarding ACTUAL washing and curing capability of ACTUAL 3D prints. CLICKBAIT
@Yarkspiri
Жыл бұрын
Most of those curing questions may not have an actual effect on the final results and would be difficult to test or prove in efficiency since they would all be dependent on the type of resin. As for the cleaning stations, pretty much any form of agitation will work, so long as the cleaning solution is the proper one and is replaced regularly. For many years, I simply put my cleaning solution in a well sealed container and just choke it vigorously. I'm open to a more scientific method within my capabilities, and should you have some suggestions, I'd be more than willing to take a closer look at those.
