I'm liking the product, which I guess is what matters. It's a wonderful logical extension to use an external device to process an already sequenced output in this way. I am not sure what the routes through the Octatrack are achieving. Sometimes sequenced events in the Octatrack are triggering envelopes, to disrupt input from the Deluge, sometimes Octatrack sounds, sometimes both? Both of these devices require a considerable assimilation, to have established this level of understanding in both is a huge achievement in itself, then to be able to think independently and creatively is, in my opinion, remarkable.

Thanks! Glad you like the end result here. The Octatrack is more like an effects unit for the deluge here, but processing the left and right output of the deluge separately. And it's adding the drums which I sampled beforehand from the deluge.

Very cool, will try this myself. Side question: where is a good place to get a wooden stand like the one you're using with the Octratrack?

the stand's from a brand called 'LOCI'. I got this one pretty much for free in a bundle with a Sirin and first thought it was just all nice looks. But it turned out to be very practical as well!
