Kazakhstan is pretty much a sugar daddy that fully covers financial expenses in order for players to represent the country. Not only the country pays all the fees but also pays a salary which is a great opportunity for players to have a stable income. Rybakina has a new skill in WTA: she never gets nervous or has emotions that affect her game. How many 5-2 or 5-3 turn around because the player that is leading gets nervous?, well Ryba has the solution for that ✌🏻. With all that I don’t think she can defeat Halep tomorrow, Ryba is not that good against players with great movement like Barty, Bertens and obviously Simona, those players cannot be overpowered easily and Halep can be really fast, Ryba can only win if Halep is in one of those extremely passive days she sometimes has.

2 hours 15 min of an extraordinarily intriguing game on court into 4min & 30 sec is disrespectful to these excellent players who did all their best. Anyway, congrats for both, for a quality match. Martic played very well above her current ranking. Even better, & incredible, is 29 years old Kazakhstan. (#1 Kazakh now before Putintseva & Diyas) Unlike young player, Rybakina's composure is stunning. That is her huge asset as a tennis player. Her confidence is boosting during this tournament. She's actually demonstrated what she may be able to so far: 1 win in Hobart, 2 finalist, one of which is shortly before in St. Petersburg. Learning very quickly. Her ground stroke is of beauty when it comes to placement/change of direction & depth. In the previous match, she produced 11 aces (4dfs), but tends to be very low first serve % around 50 or less! Amazing thing is in her performance after second serve. Still young, very smart, she can absorb anything on court. Simona usually doesn't care much about her next opponent, but she should have watched, if not, this match! Second hand information can never be the best. Seeing is believing! Good luck for both!

Petra should learn from this - she does the hard work then gets passive, plays safe and wait the opponent will make error and give the match -NO!! Like elena did she had to step in, attack more be more aggressive. To do so first flatten that forget more often and hit it through.

Boy, how she wished her form was this superb in Melbourne. Players cannot sustain peak level all the time, For example Medvedev hit the sweet spots of getting his peak performance during North American 2nd phase hardcourt swing up to USO 2019.
