I remember Using anghami when it first started I was 11-12 years old and had a Nokia C3, and I remember paying 2$ for alfa ( u used to get MBs that only works for Anghami ) and I thought those are mobile data and I downloaded Anghami and aell Since then … also I remember when I moved to france my biggest fear is to lose my Anghamj account as I had all my music there.

Incredible discussion, our region doesn't deserve Anghami tbh from my own humble opinion, there is no "art" in our region, no real artists and original music anymore, no creativity..just commercial music to sell nothing more..why would I support artists that they don't really create real music or even good lyrics...

Wow!! Another inspiring human that Sarde has introduced me to!! My money will very happily go to Anghami because I know it’s going to people who appreciate the art they’re curating, but more importantly because it goes into a business that values the humans that build it, that nurtures young minds looking to succeed and offers Lebanese minds and talents a chance, for once. Thank you Sarde and thank you Ellie ❤️❤️❤️

He’s a truly inspiring individual, from humble begins to being listed on nasdaq! Got the pleasure to listen to his breathtaking speech at my Masters Graduation at (AUD) a month ago, we spoke for 3 seconds while I walked up to get my diploma, I asked him for a job and he gave me his details! 🙏🏻

Is there a reason everytime I put a comment it gets deleted? Trying to show people where to learn about the copyright music work discussed in the pod which was brushed over and not really covered in depth. Acquired does a great job of that in a Taylor Swift episode if anyone is interested. This is the third time I post this, not sure why you keep deleting it.

Great episode but Mouin please stop using people’s sentences with either stating the obvious or saying tangential things that interrupt the guest’s thread. You do this in most episodes and it takes away from the value of discussion. At times Medea asks a question, we expect the guest to answer, not you. I appreciate your persona and good intentions, but please take a step back, watch other interviews by iconic journalists and learn.

Very good episode but

just a fyi: Efra is right, almost all Moroccans speak fluent French (even the ones that don't speak it know a lot of it as it is also part of the Moroccan dialect), also our education is done in French starting grade school all the way to university (where we practically stop using Arabic in our classes). This is the case for many African countries (in fact in every African country, the people are either fluent in French or English). As for the reason, it's simple: colonialism, Morocco was a French colony up until the late 50s
